You should get one for yourself mate. The cooling is amazing! My GPU temps have gone down 5c to 6c already.

My GPU temp has stayed pretty much exactly the same since changing to the 540.
Can't say about the CPU as it's a new CPU and a new cooler.
The GPU temps may be a little different, but I've just done a fresh install so had to re-do my fan curve, which I think may have changed slightly, so that may account for any differences (higher or lower).

It is a good idea though having intake fans having an unobstructed path to the hot components. A bit like silverstone have been doing for years with the FT02, FT03, RV01 (I think), RV02, RV03 (?) and TJ11. Albeit with rotated motherboards, that despite the 'heat rises' theory probably didn't help cooling but did help the layout.

It's heavy but for what it contains a lot lighter than a desktop. I wanted something that would replace my desktop setup but with very similar performance and save some space and it does the job perfect.

Sometimes I've always loved the idea of a beefy powerful laptop to lug about then hook up to the tv for racing games for a play on the wheel.

Laptop works so much better for me. Kids were doing my head in earlier so I went and played BF3 in the shed for a couple of hours. It's great being able to just pick it up and re-locate.

Here's mine

Just finished my 540 build... What an awesome case this is! Coming from an X900r, this was so much easier to work with. Loads of room, great airflow, looks great too.

Few gripes - similar to others really, are that lack of dust filters at the bottom & top and I am periodically getting some vibration from the HDD - which is just making me look forward to going all SSD even more!

Sorry for the poor picture quality...

How are you finding the TD02?.

been looking through this thread with my mouth wide open!!! wow id love to have the budget some of you guys have!!! And OMG some of these water setups are INSANE!!! surely water and pc's are not a good mix?

im looking to get a desktop for my birthday in a few weeks for my picture/video/Astro photography & astro stacking etc, my budget will be around £500 so nothing cutting edge :( :(

So far so good for the TD02... I fitted it on Saturday & haven't yet re-overclocked. But having disabled the c states to get a constant 3.8 - its idling at 30 ish.

The build quality is superb - just a shame about those somewhat ugly tubes!!
