My Corsair 540 totally done

Not personally a fan of the placement of those HDD and SSD mounts at the bottom of the 540 but other than that, a lovely build!

Thanks mate. Corsair put those hot swap drives in the bottom. They wanted the hottest bit in front of case for better cooling. I think they look good there imo.

Thanks. Really impressed with the Dark Rock 2 it's keeping my 4.4GHz 4670k under 70.c on Very high burn test and is almost silent even under load. I swore by Noctua D14's before trying this but this seems to be doing just as good job and is £20 cheaper.

The 7970 is a Vapor X with an Asic of only %66 but is happily running 1200/1600 on stock volts of 1.175v with nice core and VRM temps. The stock fan profile is a bit loud so I have tweaked it and it still keeps the temps nice and low.

it had 2 mounts to extend it out, past the 200m, came with the case, i have questions about the cooling with it etc, i have a thread about it. but yeah, thinking about getting some white acrylic to cover the psu etc

You need to remove the top fan, it should be flush against the top.

I know nothing about watercooling but always when I've seen a rad in the top of a case it has been flush against the top.

I have seen on some cases where the rad is mounted directly underneath a set of large 200mm fans so they act as "pull" with the rad fans underneath the rad as push. The logic of it seems reasonable, but I wonder about it's effectiveness, and whether it's worth the extra noise of the 200mm fan.
Is your front fan mounted infront of your hdd bays? May be worth keeping the SP in front

I'd recommend picking up a second 200mm fan for the top of that Phantom case and then running the 200's in the top as pull and the 120's on the rad as push, that's how I had my H100 set up in that case and it worked a treat :)
