****Show Us The inside of your Case!****

My new build (work in progress) ....
Having a problem trying to find a route for the auxiliary power plug cable on the crosshair formula V without the cable running right alongside my GPU so suggestions are welcome .... and still to add in my Arctic Cooling Freezer Xtreme Rev.2 and need to braid the power extension at the top of the case but still working on the pc.

^^^^ you talking about the 4 pin molex connection top left of graphics card? If so how about running the cable behind the motherboard so it exits right above it and then use a braided molex extension straight down to the connector?

Cypto got to show pics of the BE in the 350D m8 love to see that

I'd love to see this. Really like the look of the 350D case and it's a much more manageable size than a 750D.
If they made a 'slightly' bigger version of the 350D that could take a full ATX board but was in between the 350D and 750D size wise that would be perfect. :)

Still waiting of a few components to finish off the build but once they arrive I'll be to post up a few pictures here.

Yea thats the one :) theres a bit of a debate so to wether or not I should even bother with it .... Im kind of thinking if its there they meant me to use it but others seem to think my 2 cards will be fine without it :)

I upgraded my PC over the weekend and now running Windows 8.1 64 bit on a 500Gb Samsung Evo. It flies. This thing is a beast, near silent and runs nice and cool too.

The sound card was a little bit of an issue as Creative haven't actually got an official 8.1 driver out yet, end of the month they say.... So am running the PAX modded drivers, sorted.

Upgraded specs are....

- Intel Core i7-4770K 3.50GHz (Haswell) running at 4.4Ghz cooled by a Corsair H80i.
- 16Gb TeamGroup Vulcan ORANGE 2133Mhz RAM
- Gigabyte Z87X-OC Intel Z87 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX Motherboard
- Samsung EVO 500Gb SATA 6Gb/s SSD
- Corsair Carbide 300R Case, I replaced the front single 140mm fan with two AF140 white LED's.
- Windows 8.1 64 Bit

Reused from my old system... (Here)

- EVGA GeForce GTX 780 ACX FTW Graphics Card
- Creative X-Fi Titanium HD Sound Card
- Mechanical hard drives for Steam and media
- Corsair HX 850w Modular PSU
- Samsung SH-B123L/BSBP BluRay Drive

Full spec is...

- Razer Deathadder 2013 Mouse
- Sennheiser PC 350 SE Gaming Headset
- Acoustic Energy Aego M 2.1 Speakers
- G25 Racing Wheel
- Xbox 360 wireless pad
- PlusNet FTTC - 80Mb Download and 20Mb Upload - Using an Asus RT-N66U with Merlin Custom Firmware

Anyway, the finished product, still needs a little tidy up with the cables and stuff. Might get some orange braided power and PCI-E cables to match the accents of the board.

Looking at this exact mobo / ram / case mate so be great if you could update if you get the orange wires.

Liking the Corsair Carbide 300R build.
Tempted to get one myself but I keep swaying towards an mATX build using the Obsidian 350D.

Thanks guys, yeah I'm just about happy with it, the orange cables and a bit of a tidy up will finish it off I think. :)

On a side note, Had to move the sound card down to the bottom PCI-E slot as it was causing the 780 to run only at x8, Only noticed it when i checked GPUZ! It didn't seem to have much of an effect on performance, Time to see how t plays now......

Looks awesome, might I ask where you got the rubber grommets from?

Out of curiosity, do you have your H80 as exhaust or intake and exhausting out of top mate with another 120 fan? Looking at similar setup you see and debating what CPU to get and setup.

H80i is exhausting along with the single 120mm in the roof. Got two AF140's in the front as intake. :)

may i ask, what do you think of the corsair LED fans? are they good quality? looking at getting a few for my new case but dont want them to be noisy (currently using quiet edition fans)

ive just upgraded from a CM-690 II Advanced USB3.0 Dominator Case to a Corsair Carbide 540 High Airflow and i can say im well impressed by the case, looks like im gonna have to go water cooled soon as it has bags of space

They seem good so far yes. They certainly are quite. The 120 at the top is the stock one from the back which got replaced by the H80 fans, that is ever so slightly louder than the AF140's, but then it is only a 120 so is spinning faster. :)

Thanks mate. No issue with cpu temp then? I think i may copy your setup here!
No not yet.

Heres Real temp, playing BF4 for a couple of hours earlier, granted it doesn't max out the CPU 100% but gives you an idea. I think it goes to about 70 on full load off the top of my head... (Edit: temps are with Corsair link set to the quite profile)

BTW, just FYI Coretemp seems to randomly crash/freeze Win 8.1 64 bit. RT doesn't. - http://www.alcpu.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=62&t=2569 - Thought it was the overclock at first!

If i had the room, I'd have one of them over the 300R, Love the look of the 540. :)
