If you want to stick it down to the motherboard tray properly, yes. My LED strips had adhesive on the back, I could have threaded them under and rested the strips on the motherboard stand offs but I wasn't happy with that so I pulled the motherboard off and stuck them down.

I wouldn't really know about the colour but I really do like white, it just looks much cleaner and minimalistic to me.
 
I guess I will just remove the motherboard and do it all properly. I could do with re-managing my cables anyway, guess it'll be a good reason to bother with it.
 
My Lian-Li PC-60 (or II Plus), I somewhat regret getting a silver one since I want to spray the interior black, but its about 4 years old :p

The cabling is a little bad but there really is no place to hide em in this case>

Little bit dusty, need to give it an air blast. Also ignore the ghetto GPU cooler I made, that was for when my GPU used to crazily overheat (thanks to old thermal paste.)
 
Some good looking builds going on here. Just finished final tweaks to my 800D today. Replaced all of the stock Corsair fans with Noctua, and have adapted a 12 cm fan to the main 14 cm intake on the bottom. Seems to have tamed the Fermi nicely. Shown the mess of cables behind the mobo too. Well, I like to call it organsied chaos : ) Idea was to keep the cables away from the side panel but allow access to the CPU backplate if needed.

I do quite like the purple effect mind.

I think yellow would make it look quite dirty, yellow on black ends up looking almost a dirty green. White in my opinion, would like to see purple though :p.

Hey Parsley yeah I agree on the white probs going to go for them, did you get just one strip or more? I can only find one strip from OcUK which is luckily white :). I was thinking of yellow because there are a few yellow leds spotted around the rampage2 extreme and dotted on the top of my 4870s which I think look cool when the cathodes are off and thought it might look good behind the mobo too.

AC Ryan Blackfire4 120mm in UVblue-orange @77.70cfm and 28.95dB
I've got four Blackfire 4's in here. Love em. Great cooling, not noisy, and look sweet. My fan arrangement should have really been one brand/one colour, but I like them all :)

CPU cooler is sweet.

Funny though, because I just decided on changing my current red and black theme to green leds in all my fans.
 
Thanks gingergamer, yeah i really liked the red and black theme a lot although the wires have been semi sleeved now (thanks to nzxt pre braided cables) it looks a lot neater now. Unfortunately my camera broke while on holiday so cant take any pics atm. Could use the phoen camera but the quality would be aweful.
