I was following this build log and the final product is amazing :D

w3bbo, that looks fantastic, very good job.

thanks.... they look pretty sick. Might be a new purchase in the works.... IRL, does it look as purple as in the pic?

It kind of does really, yeah. :)

I must say, those fans are very nice indeed.

Did you purchase them from the Bay? As I cant seem to find any e-tailers I have heard of that stock them.

Yep, I did and also from a third party e-tailer shop via a place that sounds like a famous rainforest. I've had a look and I can tell you that there are currently four of those available in 120mm size which is what mine are, all from the same e-tailer, the same 3rd party e-tailer I bought from last year. You'll find them on the dock of the bay and the rainforest. Just search for Blackfire 4 or AC Ryan Blackfire4. Can't find a blue-orange though, but the e-tailer could no doubt get you one.

AC Ryan Blackfire4 UVLED Fan - 120mm / UVBlue-Green £4.35

AC Ryan Blackfire4 UVLED Fan - 120mm UVBlue £4.35

AC Ryan Blackfire4 UVLED Fan - 120mm / UVGreen £7.89

AC Ryan 120mm BlackFire UV LED Blue Case Fan £2.99

Well, all the pics on the previous page except one are taken without flash so effectively are at night, but here's an overall 'at night' shot, not very sharp picture, but gives you an idea. http://j.imagehost.org/0802/4_19.jpg
I would say it's actually brighter than this and when I turn them up with the fan controller, they illuminate more. I wouldn't say they're noisy at all. The only fan I have which sounds like a hair dryer when at full speed is my white sharkoon silent eagle 2000.

Bit of bad news possibly. I just took the side off my case and noticed that all my AC Ryan fan led's have dramatically faded. It's time to do a proper clean out as there's dust build up between the fins of the cpu and vga coolers, and no doubt the fans are dirty. but whether I can restore the fan lights to their original glow, I don't know. They certainly haven't stopped working as fans though. The led's of my enermax everest and orange xigmatek still seem pretty bright. I'll let you know if a clean up helps or if the lights are simply dying.

I know still not as neat and tidy as some, but I must say I think I have done as much as I can with this case. Dont get me wrong, I love the Scout, but it isnt the best with managing cables. I am also going to get a panal of some sort to cover the HDD (along with the jungle behind it :P)

omg is that a standard heatsink and fan, have not seen one of them in a long time

Yeah, I figured if I was going to spend £40+ on a decent air after market cooler, I might as well buy a H50. Sadly I am low on funds and any money I do get goes towards my savings for a new graphics card.

I dont plan on overclocking my CPU anyway.

My lovely messy lian-li case. Wish i could get a modular psu and somewhere to hide cables.

Before you ask, the graphics card is a palit 4850 which was having issues in my girlfriends pc so i gave her my 4870 with scythe cooler and 'modded' the 4850 with the stock 4870 cooler sans fan + shroud and use the 120mm case fan at the side blowing onto it... works a treat if a tad unusual.

Whats the Molex plug for on the board and should it not be plugged in ?
