****Show Us The inside of your Case!****

I voted earlier in the thread for this to be made a sticky... I wanna vote for that again... all those in favour say... erm... 'I'm in favour...' or something :D lol

I love looking through the cases - when I first joined I wasted about a week trawling through the insides/new cases/desk&room/Home Cinema threads - some people on here have simply amazing setups! (some not so much... lol) Can't get enough PC Prawn :D

another vote for a sticky please! :)

Have they shown up as huge on the forum? They're not too big here, downsized on the forum then big when you click on them and head to imageshack. Can always resize if they're behemoths.

Which fans are you running on your cpu cooler?

I have the same cooler and am using 2 vipers but they seem quite noisy, running them off a pwm splitter so they are not running at full speed unless my motherboard automatically speeds them up.

I was using a corsar H70 which was really quiet using the same fans.

Cheers

Noiseblocker M12-P fans... not cheap but I wanted to give them a go anyway. They are set up the same way as yours, using an (akasa?) PWM splitter. I have the bios set to run the CPU fans on "silent" and they are nice and quiet, everything else is on my fan controller. The noisiest part of my system is the GPU.

You can hear them ramp up a bit when running something like Intel Burn Test but I think they run quietly.

Got some pics of mine since i changed tubing routing...i think it looks a bit crowded (and the photos are crap)

Thanks for the info I will try running my setup to silent in the bios and see what the temps are like after that.

A few new pictures with my new(ish... had them awhile) Air Penetrator fans, SSD and Xonar D2X.

can i ask why you are using the d2x and the supreme xfi at the same time?

i have the pci version (d2) and also have a formula motherboard but i don't put my supreme x-fi in.

is it just a matter of looks?:D

I quite often use my headphones and speakers at the same time but sadly the D2X doesn't allow me to do that (at least as far as I am aware... this is the only issue I have with it nowadays). As a result of that I just run with the supreme X-Fi from the motherboard, allows me to use both at the same time when I want to :).

Have to send my motherboard back this week because the bloody USB header doesn't work and it doesn't like to take more than a single channel of RAM. Might spend it getting some good cable management on my CM 690 II Advanced...
