Are you using different fins for the dominators?
EDIT: Nvm, didnt realize you've only just ordered them
almostgfx - love the clean look your case.
My new system! I had to trim the plastic surround on the H100 fan in as it was against the mobo heatsink. Corsair 550D and MSI X79A-GD65 8D. Just fits now.
I have replaced all fans with Fractal Designs 120/140mm, on the H100 also.
My last case was a SilverStone FT01 which was probably nicer on the outside but this is so much better inside.
Thanks cant wait to finish it. I'll post some pictures tomorrow if the new fans come. Just need that damn red 6 pin
Not sure how I can get it too you but I have a spare red 6 pin pcie (bitfenix). I just got my Corsair braided PSU cables.
what WHAT!!!!! omg you would be a life saver!! PM me please!
GarethH what fans you using on your H100? also 2 or 4 in push/pull? Blowing out of case i assume? Just interested as mine arrives tmrw with 4 akasa apache blacks
Edit
Nevermind, read the post, fractal fans.
Yep just the two pulling air in. I became a fan (pun intended!) of positive pressure cases after running an FT01. No room on the 550D for push/pull (with my mobo anyway) unless you mount two of the fans externally.
I got a carbide 500R with the top cut out that basically is made for a h100 to fit, and with push/pull, seen a few rigs with the same config il be going for, the old cooler i have has a silent typhoon 1850rpm on it, gonna pop that on the rear as an exhaust with the H100 set up to pull air in from above, over the rad, on to my 2 6950s, then the typhoon to exhaust it all, probably get a 2nd typhoon and pop it on the bottom infront of the psu whatever that cut out is called, and suck air in there also, should get a decent flow through and bring temps down a bit.
I am sorry to say but recently I build a pc for one of my mates and there is no space to go push/pull on the 500R if you mount the rad on top.
Maybe not the inside, but this is my current setup till I can stop the motherboard from shorting out inside the case.
