Cant see myself spending that much on pre-braided cables as that is what the case cost delivered

true, you could just do the normal, gpu cables, 24pin mobo, cpu power and buy them separate.

I would use the official corsair ones because then you can just plug them straight into the psu which would be way easier if possible to get them all separate

But the HX series doesn't come with them all modular, so some of the cables would be bog standard anyway

Not so bad, just get some extensions for the 8pin and 24pin, then braid them to match the rest of the cables.

To mirror what Hyburnate has said, not only will paracord work, its amazingly cheap and beats all braiding in terms of finish and coverage! Paracord 550 FTW

30M should be enough in total right?

For all the people who don't frequent the specific case threads, these are the two comps I have been getting on with these past weeks.

The Air 540 isn't finished yet, I still have a false floor to go in once I've finished painting and drilling it, which I will run the pci-e cables into.
I'm not keeping the 2 HDD's either
