That's a good first bike, enough power to be fun but not enough to do back flips! Depending on how big your garden is you could practise u-turns on it :p

Aha don't have a garden unfortunately, I rode it about 10 metres down the alley behind the flats though :p Forgot to mention it was a pretty good price at £1350.

Great first bike. I had a CB500 many years ago, which I wish I had just kept. I'm considering buying one again just to use when the weather is terrible.

Bought for £3600 today, not a write off or moon rocket miles either :D

Ridiculously cheap if not silly mileage, and I thought I got mine really cheap at £4150! but that was 3 years ago now.

Nice buy :D

At least every insurance company you try doesn't want $3000 to cover you lol, probably should have checked this out before buying :p

Little bit, there's no requirement to have insurance on a bike here, I'd like it but I'm not paying 3rd of the bike in insurance for 1 year.

May get liability and just deal with the problem if I drop it.

some nice bikes here in last few posts!

Lovely R6 and good choice with the Monster as a first bike. What CC is it? :)

My £300 bike (that I sorted to pass a MOT test earlier in this thread) has had a bit of a transformation, new fairing kit installed:

So nice of my Sister to look after it around her place :D
Just needs the orange flash across the fuel tank.

Total spent around is about £1000 now.

There's one simple mod that would massively improve the looks of that blade; get rid of that enormous double bubble screen. It looks like a large barn door has been attached to the front of it.

Other than that I also preferred the original colours, but the Repsol ones look good too.

Yeah, the screen is going as it's broken anyway. There's lots of other little things to do to it yet too, time is the problem and being away from home too.

How anyone can like milk tray purple gheyness over Repsol colours.......? :p
