^ I concur.

Mivv, make it so!

Really nice example you've got there, clearly well cared for!

Strongly considering one of those or maybe an SP1 next.

Whilst my bike is off the road I have borrowed the old mans 1150GS :D

Is it wrong to say I actually want one now for commuting? haha! If only it was a little narrower.
Its just the floaty suspension, the way it falls and rises under braking and acceleration is just amazing :D
The turning circle is almost the best of any bike I have ridden, only second best to the learner Honda 125's.
Power is woeful though, genuinely feels like a 125 compared to the GSXR, but when you stick it into 6 or E whatever it is on the motorway its so smooth, you can easily see why they are so popular for lengthy trips.
And the attention it gets is crazy, so many people stop and look at it, had people walking over on the street at work just to have a look at it.

In short its been an enjoyable change to commuting on a litre sportsbike :)

It's a bit multi-coloured :p

My mate has a 1200GS, love it. It's funny following him, when he accelerates and the back drops so far when he shoots off :D

Very haha, the white mudguard is new so will be black soon, he's got about 5 or 6 different seats for it, cant decide on which one he wants so until then they are in the colour he bought them.

sports bikes are great when you're young(er) but there comes a time when your back, and the rest of your body, will shout STOP! and you'll realise you need a bike for grown ups. Welcome to touring bikes.

My back, and body, loves my Tiger 800 (no, not like that).

Forgot there was a new bike thread!

Love that VFR12, was close to buying one myself (I own an 800 VTEC amongst others)

Picked this up a couple of weeks ago. Loving it, but can't wait for the first service and the 9K rev limiter to be removed.

That's nice, may I ask how much?

I went for all the options except forged wheels, so the bike was £15,545 + £300 for a tracker unit.

Doesn't stop there though.... best part of £200 for a pillion seat and pegs secondhand (Sport model doesn't come with either, and £400 from BMW), £1800 for a metal bike safe, £750 for insurance and £200 for gap insurance. It's been an expensive month, but evaluated in terms of grins per pound, worth it.
