*** Show us your bikes! ***

Got the bike just over a month ago.
Its a late 1979 British built Beamish Suzuki 250.
Had an extensive rebuild after sitting in boxes in a old cattle barn covered in cow crap for 25 years, I just added the finishing touches to get it ready to trial.
Its now ready to trial, I will be entering the classic Twinshock trials events, up the Derbyshire dales over the coming months.

Awesome and amazing build. Bike looks the bomb !

Felt like i was neglecting my FZ09 a little, so took her out last Sun for a little rip ! Just over 4k now and that rear tire has come to the end of its useful life. I can actually see a little canvas in certain area's. Took a nail in it at 600 miles, back in 2013, when the bike was brand new ! Didn't even have a replacement so i had to plug it... That was a fun little project getting the tyre off myself with some irons and plugging it.

Anyway.

Was it you that had the Ducati Scrambler? Yellow, if I remember correctly?

Correct, I have the Scramber as well as the FZ09, along with my upgraded KLX351 which actually is my most used bike, as riding off road is more adventurous (actually did 200miles on that little single cylinder on Saturday ) can't recommend motor skivvies enough google 'em!!!!! , oh i also a Vespa S150ie thrown in for good measure for zipping around the community. :p

So my memory isn't that bad overall. :p How are the mods coming together? You posted a list of mods some time ago on here, any progress?

BTW That FZ-09 needs Akrapovic without baffle and decat. :D

Thanks, I cant take the credit for most of the rebuild lol
I just finished it off.
Lucky for me the owners club have had some parts remanufactured, it did need a new reed valve intake as the 37 year old original had almost split all the way though, but it was only £35 and is made to withstand the ethanol in fuels.
not looking forward to cleaning it after a trial hahaha , but it has to be used, I'm not one of those buy it and keep it just to make money off it.
their getting rarer as the time rolls on, owners club say only 1000 left running now, out of the 1900 made, which is one of the reasons you don't see them in classic trials competition much anymore.

Hey guys, been a while since I posted on here! My XJR is currently undergoing a bit of tlc, so is out of action until I get the time at home to fix her. So, as is only right, I bought myself a bit of a toy. I fancied something different but can't really afford anything too extravagant, so trawling eBay I found an option. After taking a trip down to Peterborough, I adored the bike from the off and though the plastics aren't mint, mechanically the bike is sound. I'm now the proud owner of a CBR1100XX :) Pictures will follow, however a last minute change at work now means I'm not in the bloody country!

Out with the old... in with the old...er?

I've done a few track days this year on the CBR600F that I had as my first bike. I LOVED them. So I wanted something cheap that I could put on track fairings (none available for the 600F) and I have been looking around for a gsxr 600 or R6 etc when this beauty came up for sale. Guy owned it for 6 months and didn't like it, used it to commute and couldn't carry things on it. The previous owner before him is a friend of mine who had it since new (so I've got the full history of it).

Rode it once and bought the bike. And the previous owner who's my friend is selling me very cheaply ALL the track stuff he has for it that the other guy didn't want to pay for. So I've got a full titanium micron exhaust with two sets of end cans, power commander 5, quick shifter, full painted track fairings (pained just before he sold the bike so still new) etc. All together it's going to cost me around 3,700 including everything. It already has the ohlins front springs and oil, graves rearsets, braided lines etc.

Although to ruin an awesome weekend I got a puncture on my second ride out :D So now it's just sitting there until the garages open tomorrow and I can change it for the set of R10's my mate has.

Niiiice! An absolute bargain for all of that, enjoy it!

Yeah I just went to pick up the other parts and the list of stuff is huge. +1 tooth in front, different sprockets, chain, braided hoses, PC5, quickshifter, set of R10's etc. He said the only things missing that it could have is the ohlins rear shock (he sold it privately) and he never got around to adding a slipper clutch. But I'm pretty new to track days so this is WAY more than I need right now so no point in adding anything haha.

Great colour,what year is it?

Thanks! It's a 2006 50th anniversary model.

THE BEST COLOUR! Epic buy :D

3k worth of awesomeness!

Meeting a fella later who's going to do the quick shifter, gear indicator, full micron, PC5, change the tyres over to the R10's... so excited! Only had one drive on it as normal before the tyre got a puncture, and then the next time I use it it's going to be well... loud

Stock exhaust to full titanium micron with no baffles... :D

Oh and the track fairings are in the same colour scheme haha

new developments for me....

sold the hornet, selling the Grom, onto the next..

2010 SV650S K9, comes with most of the needs mods, i just need a hugger really, owned by a lady biker, kept in great condition

collecting this week, fancied a change from the Grom, need a motorway'able bike now

Very nice, just get rid of the stickers the guy seems to have plastered all over the paintwork!
Also slap a fender extender on the front with the weather at the minute it's probably the best thing I've ever stuck to mine.
