Echoing comments about screens on nakeds. Sometimes the 'clean' air without a screen is better than what some other screens will end up providing.

I put a V-stream one on my S1000R, helped a little with neck ache but don't expect miracles!

I'll probably eat my words in a few months when I take the 1290 SDR over to Europe without anything :D

I prefer a bike without one, you don't feel the air resistance as much.

With a screen I tend to get neck ache from the air always pushing against my head.

Picked this up on Sunday.

Full Akrapovic, Ohlins Shock and Fork Cartridge Kit.
Came with a spare set of lolworthy tyres, powerbronze bellypan, R&G Rad Guard and original bits too.

2 hours 30 from home and I decided I need a front screen for any long distance stints for sure. Also gonna get a set of panniers as plan to do some Europe trips too.

MT-09 was sadly too much too insure than what I wanted to spend in total but got this for a relatively good price.

Fantastic lawn!

You just need a fat neck, that'll fix any straining from wind blast.

:D:p

After a few months on a naked your neck muscles to get used to it, i remember the first time at 80mph on my CB400, felt like my head was about to be ripped off. Anything up to 90mph is comfy now, it's only when you sit at three figures that it starts getting tough holding on.

For me it's all or nothing, either a big screen that takes the air right over your head, or a full naked which you get an even wind pressure on your whole torso.

Case in point, my VFR with it's standard screen shoves ALL the air at my neck/head and results in a load more wind noise than on my Tuono with it's mini-fairing. Although, it is MUCH easier to cruise at 'speed' on the VFR thanks to the full fairing, often I've looked down and gone  at the speed I'm crusing at...:o

Must admit I was adamant I wasn't putting a screen on mine.

Glad I changed my mind, as it has made a difference for me when I do go on the motorway.

It looks decent as it replaces the original screen and not just fits over the existing one.

Just a dealer picture at the moment sorry, picking it up tomorrow now as they couldn't get it MOT today.
