I am now officially skint ... Apart from my sandybridge money of course :D

I cant take to the front on the new CBR. but bloomin ek lad thats some tasty add ons there.

what is the main differences between the PCIII and the V?

What do you think of the Intruder? My wife fancies getting a 125 to re-take her test (DVLA "accidently" cancelled her previous licence - she's already had to retake car test!) and she only likes cruisers. Been looking at the Shadow and the Dragstar till now.

The intruder very nice nice bike i feel safe on it and sounds good :D

It can pull away fast but top speed maybe 65-70 only but its good for what it is :)

Mine going up for sale soon as i need a bigger bike when i get my full test done.

I read it mainly as a lot more finer adjustements to fueling over the 3 and its smaller I think

But found this from some googling! :p

-Reduced size from PCIIIusb (less than half of the size of PCIII)
-USB powered from computer (9 volt adapter is no longer needed for programming)
-2 position map switching function built in (map switch not included)
-Gear input (allows for map adjustment based on gear and speed)
-Analog input (allows user to install any 0-5 volt sensor and build an adjustment table based on its input such as boost or temperature)
-With gear position input connected the PCV is capable of allowing each cylinder to be mapped individually and for each gear (for example: on a 4 cylinder bike with a six speed transmission there could be up to 24 separate fuel tables).
-Unit has a -100/+250% fuel change range (up from -100/+100%). This allows more adjustment range for 8 injector sportbikes
-10 throttle position columns (up from 9 on PCIIIusb)
-Enhanced “accel pump” utility (increased adjustment and sensitivity ranges)

But because i haven't had the opportunity to ride yet i have consoled myself with lots of mods. I`m waiting for the first service in 5 weeks before i fit ( Warranty)

They are lovely machines, my sister has an 07 Hanspree one.

Some nice mods sitting there :)

A couple of things though,

With regards to warranty, should you have any issue, remove the parts BEFORE going back to Honda. I had an issue with a wiring loom burning itself out, the Honda dealer I bought it from said it was because I had replaced the headlight bulb with an ultra bright one (Phillips Ultra Bright with the same rating as the original) and initially refused to carry out the work under warranty. It took a lot of arguing where in the end they refunded me as "good will". Others I know have has other issues and have similar problems getting warranty work done due to "Mods".

The only mod you've got I don't like is the dark screen, if you're ever out on track and going some having a clear screen is a massive advantage, you can actually duck behind it and see through it. (And IMO they look tacky)

Finally, The R&Gs are good, but you might want to consider something like these, they can prevent damaged cases which could end your day out or track day.

ETA, Lovely RGV btw pestt:D

I know what you mean about the screen,it was suposed to be a light tint . But being fleebay and cheep i`ll prob just sell on .

The thing about the warrenty is the shop doing the service would be the place any warrenty claim is done , and being the first full service due soon i decided to wait( they might remember it being modded ) . And after that no money grabbing , put the trainee mechanic on it shop will be going near it :D

Ditto about the rgv. Love the tiga rear end

Love the RGV used to race one many years ago was a 1991 model, remember going up to Cadwell and meeting a sponsored rider, who sold me a full exhaust system, plus a suziki tuning manual.
The difference was amazing was like a new bike and would give many a big bike of the day a run for its money.

I miss the two strokes of my younger days. Here's a quick pic I found recently that I scanned into the PC of my old NS250R in Campsa Honda colours, a team ran by the great Sito Pons :-

I love 2 strokes. I think most do. smell of castrol and the YEEEEEEAWWWWWWW sound is amazing on a track.

I always wanted a race tuned RS125, but now realise how stupid it would have been. Probably rebuilt more often than a jenga pile.

I was laughing at a young boy giving it the berries on an RS125 the other week. was opening it that fast and hard im surprised he didnt streach the throtle cable, still wasnt going fast though

Aww, cool! I've managed to get everyone all misty eyed over misspent youth.
I'm 48 tomorrow and still out there. Silverstone, last December. Bloody freezing and me crapping it over the jetting and dropping it potential. Am buying a £1000 ****box diesel for future use! Then I can really let my hair down!
