Nice divvy, rock solid bikes.

I picked one up the other month for 350 notes, not a thing wrong with her:

Here's what I've done so far:

Got an FZR600 rear wheel and front end to stick on her, also gonna eventually fit an R1 tail with underseat exhausts.

Not a fan of that at all if I'm honest. It's a dull but worthy commuter ideal for plodding to work on, it doesn't really suit the whole streetfighter image.

Great site folks! I joined mainly because I'm into motorcycles, some nice machines on here!

Here is my Honda Blackbird, in fast Titanium. I haven't been able to ride it for a couple of months because I put the comfort seat on Ebay in October and some bloke said he would swap, so I trusted him and sent him my seat and I haven't received the exchange seat, he said he'd sent it but said he would send another one, still no sign of it! If anyone has a standard seat they could sell me, please please get in touch because I miss riding it!! I work for a Hospice, so it's my way of letting my hair down at the end of the day. Cheers!

Thanks. Before this I was a BMW fan, had a K100RS 16v before, plus another Blackbird and a few other BMW's, such as the R1100s models, great bikes, faster than people think! I also hope the seat situation works out, I've been conned good and proper, but have people on the case! Can't ride the Bird til I get a seat, unfortunately, and shortage of cash is a problem. Will post more pics of my old bikes when get a chance

I had a K100RS many, many years ago. Fantastic bike and as you say it had a deceptive turn of speed and could actually handle. I embarrassed many a so called 'sports bike' rider during my time of brick ownership. I still have a hankering to buy another K series beemer but I hardly use the RSV I currently own so it would be money down the drain to be honest.

Hope you get the seat problem fixed, not nice to have the wool pulled over your eyes like that.

This is one of my previous bikes, the white K100RS 16v. Only 40k on the clock, beautiful machine to ride, goes on forever and so comfortable. Wish I had kept it now, as I can't ride the Bird without a seat, I have emailed the bloke again but no reply, so any suggestions of how to handle this would be welcome. Do I name and shame him? I've had quite a few bikes in my time, had 4 when I met my wife (natch, they had to go, except one!) and I'll post more pics on when I get a chance!

Cheers!

You have his address so pay him a visit (preferably with a friend for company) and ask him for the seat or your own seat back.
If it's too far, maybe someone here could help out or ask a biking forum for help.
