Not really, I get bored very easily and always wish to try new things. The 675R is a fantastic bike and I would keep it if i could as a second bike. The only issue i had with it was that my knees were very high on the pegs and pretty uncomfortable after 30 mins or so. Although it may not look it, the RSV4 is much more roomy for a 6ft 1" guy.

This is really my dream bike, I have wanted one since I first saw (and heard) one. Now i'm finally in a position to buy one :)

Awesome!

Be interested to see what you think of the riding position after a decent ride, not ridden one myself but sat on a few, knee position wasn't bad but it did feel tiny, same height as you too.

Look forward to seeing it at the next meet :D

Awesome machine there edd1e. Very interested to hear how you get on with it being a lanky bugger myself (6f 3"). I've sat on one a few times and and it felt crazy small. Its on my shortlist for eventual next bike along with ZX10R and BMW S1000RR

Cheers guys.

It's been mapped with the full Akra, it's got a dyno print out of 184bhp.. it's nuts, the test ride in the wet was... interesting.

Will report back once i get some decent rides in... although that's probably going to be next year now. The wait over the winter is going to kill me :(

This is the only bike I would have swapped the 675R for. I've had a 10R before and the S1000RR is a fantastic bike but a little soul'less for me.

Roll on the next meet!

Fair enough, is an awesome looking bike. Always liked the RSV4 since it first came into WSBK. When I've seen them in shops they have always looked quite small but I guess that's the trend for all modern sports bikes!

Had me new bike for a couple of weeks now and love it!

It is a Suzuki GSR750 nekkid style:D The best bit is the engine, so much torque from idle. Will get a picture or 2 up soon just not had the time with work.

Ps got a Honda CBR600 FY (2000) for grabs, got to get the ad done for the bay.

OK, RSV4 is no longer happening! I knew there was issues with the earlier bikes, but after more research I have bottled it. To many horror stories of engines eating themselves and poor parts supply (it is well out of warranty so looking at £3500+ for an engine). It received a raft of updates to the engine in 2012, so I may get a newer version next year.

But for now, the 675R is staying. :)

Reunited!

Ouch. Wasn't sure what year that one you posted was. Being stuck with a 675R for a bit longer isn't exactly slumming it :-).

Just goes to show that research is king before purchasing. Or have enough money to bug new and relax with the warranty. What with prices of new bikes these days that is getting harder and harder.

Ha, i'm not 'stuck' with the 675R I love it... i just had the chance to buy my dream bike so went for it.

I love the 675, and will be happy to have it for a while yet. Every time I ride it I think to myself... 'I need nothing more than this'... and I shaved 20secs off my ring lap time over the 10R. It's just those long winter nights browsing biketrader takes it toll :P

Maybe i'll spend some more pennies on the 675R instead, Stage 3 Arrow exhaust maybe. :)
