But he has a wonky nose :) It's just less apparent in some of his older stuff as he had a 'fuller' face. In the likes of 'Terminator 4' and to the extreme 'The Machinist' his wonky nose is much more noticeable, I've been using photo's from these films as my reference as they tend to have more detail and interest :D Feedback welcome <3

The lines from his nostrils to cheeks seem at odds with his expression. Almost like he should be smiling, yet when you see his mouth clearly he isn't.

Hi Lance, how you finding TT Fusion?

I thought it was Bale earlier due to the wart on the nose and according to your blog you went to see it just before posting this!

Don't take this the wrong way butI think your Zbrush sculptsare suffering from lack of form in a way. As in the proportions and the bulk of muscle structure is not there in the early stages, so you're chipping away and ending up with a very 'skinny' deflated sculpt. The crease lines look just drawn as opposed being created from the muscle and flesh creating a crease if you get me.

I usually use the clay brushes and go mental exaggerating the forms and then chipping back the structure. I tend to stay away from creating versions of existing people starting out as it just becomes frustrating and you lose yourself in trying to replicate instead of creating proper structure.

Here is some good links:

Thanks Craig for the feedback, I think the harsh lighting contributes to that. I'll be sure to have a look at it and potentially iron them out a bit or make the lighting more diffuse as I progress.

Yeah Meekon it's cool, very laid back. I'm actually looking forward to finishing and getting back to Uni though :D
Thanks for the feedback to fella, I've been following some advisory videos from the likes of Ryan Kingslian and Scott Spencer which have been pretty insightful. I was a bit hesitant on doing a bust of a live actor as you need to get it spot on to work well! I thought I might as well give it a try and see what I learn, I don't think it's to bad for my second sculpture :D

I'll be keeping at it anyway and hopefully have a decent product when it's over!

Thanks again people, feedback is duly noted and appreciated ^^

Some of these are amazing and makes me really want to try drawing again. I use to love it when younger, in my teens. Although not the most creative of people I could sketch things I see pretty well.

I got a Wacom bamboo pen and touch I have tried very briefly but it seems so difficult to use! It's so sensitive doesn't feel right and I get this small lag when first starting and when it catches up I find my line has gone awol.
