I'm just about to start tiling the floor in mine.
I've built it all myself over the last 2 years, other than the blockwork which someone else did. It's 11m x 5m, with a soon to be electrically operating retracting staircase to the first floor, lots of power, lots of light, hot water and a 2 poster lift will be going in at the front end once the tiling is done (I have 3.3m of headroom).
Before the driveway was down, the door is deceptive, it looks like a normal single but is actually 3.5m wide and 3m tall

They seem to work well, the garage is so bright with the main lights on that it's difficult to tell their impact, but every little helps. They were £150 for 4 of them with drivers.

Cheapo one I got done 5 or 6 years ago, extra wide as the "standard" sizes were just far too small. Same as most I'm sure, its become a dumping ground. Id love to get a home office with garage built properly sometime, cupboard off anything and just have the car sitting nicely etc

In the summer months, yes. It's got a gti-6 engine and box in it.
Very nice! I love them. I owned a 1.6 and a 1.9. Also had a Mi16 conversion. I'd have another one in a heartbeat.
Was that alto for sale in Novemberish last year? Looks familiar.
