Sorry to hear about your cat mate. 19 years is a very good innings for a cat so you can be happy for that at least, and it sounds like you've got a lot of good memories.

Sorry to hear about your cat Wazz-1..
Brought a lump to my throat thinking about it.
My kitty is only 7 years old, so I am hoping I won't go though what you are for many years!

Sorry to hear for your loss, one of my cats passed away a few months ago as well, she was around 17, so 19 is bloody old for a cat! :)

Happy days !!! Pics up when you get the wee one home :)

Oh dont worry will do!

Just need to get ourselves to the re homing centre and find our new little friend!

We have Cats Protection League and RSPCA locally and I think there might be an independent cattery near our house too

If you have re homed a kitty where did you get one from?

Is it better to support the independent causes or go to the big hitters?

Out of interest, why do most people buy kittens or puppies? Why not fully grown animals?

The kitten bit is the single best best thing ever! Plus its the best chance to become the kittens family :D

Dogs are much the same, but dogs make a mess as a puppy which isn't as cool

Kittens aren't too much different.

When I first got my kitten, in the first 2 weeks, he felt a little scared going outside the living room. So, what he decided to do, was take a dump near my plug sockets. He was doing this once a day.

It took me 3 days to realise what was going. From this point onwards, I had to "take him for a walk" every morning, near the litter tray, at which time he got used to doing his poo, in the litter tray, without fear of going outside the living room.
