Show us your kitty cats

Sorry about Mog, that's a real worry for you. I hope he comes back home at some point safely. New kitten is lovely looking, nice one for homing a rescue kitten too.

On dogs and cats you need to occasionally intervene but we had lots of dogs and cats when I was growing up (including gun dogs as well as terriers) and we never had a dog and cat related incident. We homed strays / feral for the rescue place in our stables (my father loved cats) and they would occasionally emerge pursuing a dog, but we didn't have any other issues.

We also had a dachshund and a stray who loved each other hugely, they were 18 and 17 when they died and when the dog went the cat died a month later, he just missed her.

I think you have to prove to whoever is already at home that you still love them lots and will pay attention to them. Sometimes the conflicts are jealousy, particularly if a dog has been a lone pet.

We've recently added a new member to our family

Shes doing a good job of keeping our other cat busy and he seems to have let her settle right in. I'll have to add a better picture later

had belled since she was a kitten, about 7-8 years ago now and stan was found outside our house, he had obviously not been looked after as he was very underweight, we found him licking water off the leaves when we watered the garden so we then started feeding him food and he moved in, we put posters up saying we found him but no one came forward, he had been neutered but no microchip, we have had him chipped now and he is also over weight so we have started him on a strict diet.

We have a new addition. In this thread you will see our cat Dora and also Mog.
Unfortunately Mog (a lovely Norwegian Forest) went missing two months ago and we of course fear the worst. If he ever comes back he will be welcomed with open arms.
This morning we popped along to our local cat rescue (Woodgreen) and we found this lovely 10 week old male kitten. His brother and sister were both rehomed over the weekend so he was all alone, noisy and just desperate to come home with us - so how could we refuse?
Two quick pics - this is Qyzen, I'm sure more will follow:

It is people like you and your missus that restore my faith in humanity. To go help out the shelter by taking another kitteh is awesome, take a bow son :)

Well last week, all of our kittens (except one we are keeping) went to their new homes. I must say, the last 8 weeks have been both fun and extremely frustrating! It's not the same without them all charging around now. Anyway, some pics..

Here they all are - 5 in total (2 boys, 3 girls) you can just about make them all out:

One of the little boys being a total loony. He hasn't changed so his new owners tell me:

The one we have kept, a little boy now known as Simon:

Here is mum (I think she is absolutely stunning), looking a lot healthier now she isn't feeding them anymore:

Hope you enjoy!

Cheers, yeah I'm doing the whole first time "dad" thing and recording it all. Prolly a bit ghey, but he is just such a character and so damn cute.

I wish I caught on camera his head popping up in front of my gf's boobs whilst she was eating with him staring at the plate.

I probably won't do the same when I have an actual kid, at least kittens are generally enjoyed by everyone. :)
