Does he molt much? eg: If you stroke him firmly 4-5 times, is there a little pile of fur in your hand?

We have just picked up our first kitten today. He's about 8 weeks old

Not at all, when I give him a good brushing it does, and the odd bit on dark fabrics, but easily removed,,, and more than worth it, he is sooo awesome!
and that's a mega cute kitten too! great markings!

he looks more like a Twinks to me, he has a real twinkle in his eye & looks like he's gonna be a right little mischief maker
my cat died when my parents split up and my sister left for uni and when i was at the brink of depression, he was called treacle, he was my best friend 
i miss him so much....
althought im the happiest guy in the world now, i just wish i could go back to give him one last stroke... i loved that kitty cat .....
