Show us your kitty cats

How's things going with foxeye now has the cat settled in and started eating etc?

I was wondering this too...I hope he and the kitteh are okay

Sorry should have posted back sooner.

Bella is eating and pooing normally again :) She isn't scratching half as much, but still scoots her bum across carpets (and occasionally dining table :p). She doesn't seem to like cleaning up that area and often has a "crusty bum". I have tried wiping her with a damp bit of toilet tissue but she absolutely hates it.

Given that cats are normally very clean animals, I'm kinda surprised that she doesn't pay any attention to her butt. She grooms meticulously everywhere else.

Anyway, we're getting along just fine. She meows a lot, but I think she's just a vocal cat. She has regular bursts of energy where she tears around the house making weird chirping noises, and pretending to be afraid of everything. But I think she's playing because she'll often attack toys (hit and run style) or carry them around when she's doing it.

Pics to follow :p

Some cats just don't like cleaning in the bum area and I am afraid you will just either have to accept it or get her used to you wiping it with a damp cloth.

I had to do the same with one of my cats and although she initially did not like it she eventually accepted it though never ever liked me doing it.

I give you, Bella :D

does anyone here use Hills perscription diet C/D dry food for any of their cats?
i've got 2KG+ left from a 4KG bag ive got no further use for and i can send it to you for the cost of postage which will save you a few quid as its pretty expensive stuff,
hit me up via trust if you can use it yourself, failing that, il see if a local cat charity can use it.
**only accept this offer if your Vet has perscribed Hills C/D for your cat!**

After a turbulent week mixing a new girl kitten into the house with an existing 2 year old girl, they are eventually friends and playing, running round chasing each other, there were a few days we didn't think they would mix, but its been a week and they are friends, i thought it would take much longer to integrate the new kitten so really pleased.

We kept the kitten in a safe-room for most of the week only coming out now and again, but started mixing them on Saturday with the help of a stress release plugin for cats/dogs, which we found really did help, its great to see the kittens little personality come out with some confidence (and attitude), but currently worn herself out and is fast asleep after playing together all day :)

Ha, love it.

I should be ashamed to say that I have wrapped gifts for my beast though not under a tree because we don't really do the whole decoration thing.

We buy little gifts, the cat stockings with chews and things in, then some new toys to play with, its got to be done :p
