Dave is a female! My wife wanted a second cat and we won't have males due to spraying etc, so I said we can on one condition! We name her Dave.

I won, but my wife gave her the name Mia, so we both call her different things.

All of MY friends and HER friends all use the name Dave, much to my amusement and my wifes annoyance hahahaha

bit late now but males dont generally* spray if neutered

Some of you might remember I had problems with Hugo and cystitis a month or two back. Vet confirmed it was not crystals in his winky etc but it just kept coming back.

He's been on powder capsules for 4 weeks which seem to have helped, he's just finished the course and after a few days it's come back again. So seems he might just have to be on medication indefinitely. Apparently not that uncommon says our vet.

Luckily he isn't bothered about the powder on his meat..

However one particular cat is coming in to my garden to do its business on my lawn almost every night. It's not even like it lives next door it comes from miles away.

I have 2 cats of my own and it makes me mad when I see cats in my back garden defecating, so I understand what you saying.

Buy a water pistol, from a pound shop.
As soon as you see that particular cat in your garden, spray it with water, until it runs away.
Do this for a few days and I promise you, he will get the hint and won't return for a while.
