Show us your kitty cats

Any more recommendations for kitten food that doesn't cost the earth? They are getting a little picky with what they are being given. Tried all sorts so far. The one they actually seem to like best is the cheapo Tesco stuff. The fairly pricey proplan stuff gets sneered at :p Whiskas and Felix are both meh response.

Purina one products are pretty good generally

Also look at some of the purina addatives like natural defences (powdered addition) I would bet there are some kitten equivalents

Have you given non kitten food a try?
They may like the big cube chunks, it's not like kitten food is that different nutrition wise.
Ron is on Aldis brand at £2.99 for 12 pouches and Purina one chicken for dry.

If you allow them to get picky, they will.

Oh, and have you tried poultry AND fish? Some cats prefer poultry, some fish (and of course there are the easy ones that like both).

Spoiled haha
I try to change every day for Ron. Chicken jelly, fish jelly, beef gravy etc
Yep, we try to switch it around. So far they've gone off the iams delights and totally refuse to eat webbox, animonda and Morrisons own brand.

They just about tolerate Felix and whiskas and quite like Tesco's own brand.

Bluey is being a proper diva over his food now. Tried some Sheba and he just gave it the furry finger without even trying it. Very frustrating.

He did go back and have some a bit later after acting up badly, but still annoying.

Opened a new box of Whiskas pellets for Ronnie with chicken -They are totally different to the last box and he stuck his nose up at them.
Why do the makers always want to change them -had to bin them as he refused to eat them.

Mine used to do that from time to time. Every few months I'd need to switch to a different brand. Then after a little while go back to the others and they would eat them fine.

Fussy wee fluffballs.

Tilly has just today decided she’s going to throw a wobbly over her food, I’ve been through pretty much every brand and found ProPlan is the only one she’d eat. Fed her breakfast and she didn’t fancy it, fed her dinner nope not that either but she’s done nothing but meow at me tonight. Hopefully she’ll eat over night :(
