Our ancient cat Perry sadly passed on a couple of weeks ago and we've just collected his ashes.
I casually mentioned to my wife that as we're going on hols tomorrow perhaps he'd like to come as he's never been abroad before.

Spare room for me tonight I should imagine.

That is being all sensitive. She should aww and coo and you. She will be ovulating at the thought of such a caring man.

I'd forgotten you said you'd got a hooded litter tray Phate. When we got ours, we broke it in gently and made sure we put some of their old litter in the new tray so they'd recognise the smell.

Maybe the problem is that he can't see the litter as it's hooded, and can't smell it either as it's brand new. Good plan taking the lid off for now.

Bless him, he must've been desperate to go on the sofa - mine had a couple of accidents when they were little but it was mostly in the corner or somewhere out of the way.

Yeah Vic I'm not worried, small steps, one at a time he'll get there :)

He's still asleep next to me, gonna leave him to it and hit the sack myself I think, see where he is in the morning.

Good news!

Woke up this morning to find something incredible...hes used the litter tray \o/

I had removed the hood from the litter box and moved it closer, and he's used it, progress! :)

I know it probably doesn't need said again but damn that is an amazing looking cat

Thanks very much, I think he's too pretty to be a boy.

He's just recovering from an eye infection at the moment, my sister said he didn't make any fuss at all when putting the drops in. You can do literally anything to him, pick him up, turn him upside down and hold him in your arms like a baby, never know such a placid cat, he doesn't bite or scratch or fight you to let him go either. He's only 10 months old too.

Hoping to get some pictures of him sitting up next time I go over as he has the fluffiest tail I have ever seen on a cat :)

lol poor guys probably been crossing his legs all this time.

ide leave the hood off until he's settled in and got used to only having one eye as well. :)

Sounds EXACTLY like my Poppy, can throw her all over the place (if you wanted to :D), takes her steroids every morning with not a bit of fuss, and she has an extraordinarily fluffy tail too! Glad he's used his litter tray Phate :D

Tim reminds me a lot of my cat Crystal with the slight red/ginge tint in her coat. Fortunately she was in my room because its raining outside:

If you stop stroking her when she wants cuddles for a moment, she'll put her paw up like a doggy <3

And here is the cat who we think is a stray, we named him Tiger Tim ages ago and he comes around every few days sitting patiently at our back door. He's a short, stocky cat who is very nervous around humans.

RIP Jago, what a stunning looking cat, especially the second picture.
