Here are my beauties - they are from the same litter

Grey - Goumera
Black - Goumbaro

Goumbaro was the runt of the litter, but he turned out fine :D :p

a younger one of each:

And now that they are three years old:

1st cat the "puke" she was left with my grandmas son who later kicked her out as she wasn't getting on with the dog they had - the dog was the tiny one like 2x times smaller than the cat.. sadly we were outside the country and couldn't take her when the grandma got back from holidays the cat was not there.. never seen her again

here's "puke"

2nd was the "bau" who had a little eye problem but vets keeps on prescribing us with eye drops that didn't do much.. later in the year a fox(at a guess) attacked him and injured him so much we had to put him to sleep :(

here's "bau"

we loved them both! and im 90% sure PUKE is still around :) she was a very clever cat and im sure she found a home - was very healthy and as you can see by the pictures very nice too.. i hate my mums brother for kicking the cat out/not allowing back in home - which was actually her home but they looked after it while my grandma was on holidays..

after we lost both of them we don't fell like taking another pet - just feel unlucky and it hurts loosing them :/

Update!

He's fine! Emergency vet gave him a once over, she also showed us to check his gums next time, checked his temperature, intestines etc - she said unless it's pouring out don't panic, also checked the wounds and they are healing well and knows the person who operated on him.

Overall, panic over :D - and nearly home.

Nice one phate, ill never forget pulling one of murrays teeth out on a sock when he was younger. Got him to the vets in a panic tbh. Milk tooth, how were we to know cats have milk teeth.

Hehe Loam, well I'm a first time cat owner and so when I saw it I instantly thought maybe its an infection due to the recent operation.

However, Tony is now in his hiding spot of choice (behind the sofa) and is sulking a bit and giving us the occasional, meow :p - Insurance will reimburst us (was £140 for emergency consultation) but not really worried about that, it's good to have peace of mind :)

Scrap that - just coaxed him out and hes on the sofa next to me again, clearly over his life threatening ordeal :D

Glad he's okay. :)

Pet insurance is freakin awesome. My cat ate a poisoned mouse a while back and turned up at home staggering everywhere and falling over. As a result he ran up a £500+ bill at the emergency vet (my cat was fine, but needed to go on a drip etc). Thankfully we had insurance!

The most frustrating thing about that ordeal was I saw my cat lunching on the mouse and didn't try to stop him. Dozens of times I'd failed to prevent him eating something he shouldn't as he just legs it, so I just let him get on with it on that occasion (never again, and now I run up the garden waving my arms like a tard, shouting at him which doesn't make him drop it, just gives the neighbours something to talk about :p).

Yip! Hes now asleep next to me, been all over us like a rash tonight, and actually went to his food for dinner tonight rather than me put it infront of his face! Which is handy, and hes had a bit more wondering around, so hes clearly getting confident :)

Be his first day completely alone tomorrow, he's had us around pretty much the whole time hes been here. See how he copes!

I left the radio on when I first left Jinx alone. Thought it might be better for her to have some sound in the house lol

The things ya do for your cats :D

Couple more pictures of the latest cat, Sophie.
She is a tiny cat, about 3 years old now. Very long legs and a tail thats about an inch too long, its always curls over at the very end.

A quick question to you other cat owners, When your making a fuss over your cat, do they dribble? Sophie does and its always over a fresh shirt Ive put on.

my last cat used to dribble a little when she purred, but rather bizzarely only when she was being fussed, if she was splodged out in front of the fire purring away to herself then she didn't dribble :p

No, after last nights ordeal I completely forgot...I'll sort something out though :)

Although Tony is now loose in the house so he's finding lots of new hiding spaces! :p

The dogs have seen him, the spaniel nearly knocked herself out running into the glass door :p

Official introductions are tonight!
