Just picked up my new car

Its a 05 reg Mini Cooper S John Cooper Works and i love it

Had a MCS before and sold it, missed it and so got a JCW :cool:

Thats the cleanest rover I have ever seen, all the ones around here are rusty, have trees growing out of their bonnets or have dented panel syndrome!

Mine has a few dents (bloody car parks

) and bit of rust (front passenger arch) but overall, it's pretty sound.

I love cleaning it though, especially when it comes out like in the pictures :cool:

Adam, not sure what wheels I'm going for yet. Gonna wait until these tyres have had it and then splash out on something shiny

Needs to be lightweight though. Not going to spend a fortune on wheels to get something cheaply made and heavy.

I'm mildly tempted by an MG ZT now Andy, I have about 8k to play with but i'd be looking at the Mk2 diesel which commands a premium.

I think the last time I posted in here I had a NightFire Red Metro 1.1 litre beast of a car.

That was back in 2003, and inbetween then and now I've had a red SEAT Ibiza Estilo 1.4L which I bought off my parents. That served me well for 3 and a bit years and in February 2008 I sold it and replaced it with a Flame Red RenaultSport Clio 172. Over the weekend I treated it to it's second full wash, lacquer and wax with collinite 476S.

A few quick camera phone pics below, hopefully over the summer I'll get some proper pictures sorted.
