Love your car AGW, absolutely love it. Always wanted to own a 200/400 turbo. They are getting on now though, so don't think I ever will.
Very nice. I have the 180 and it's been a great car in the 18 months I've had it.

I'm not too sure on them AGW. Just something about them. I really liked your old wheels on your car.
Maybe it's because I'm not a huge fan of the leggeras.
Be careful with those dust caps also, if there the ones i think they are, the metal ones with a tool keyring then they split my valves. Think it's because of the weight of them going around with the wheel.

To me you can see to much of the disc brake and pads due to the alloy being too spindly. Just doesnt suit the car compared to the old alloys that filled up nicely.
haha, that reminds me of one of my mates at work. He's forever shouting "BRP" at me. gotta be there really
Re the comments on the wheels, I wasn't sure at all when I first put them on. In fact, I was a bit disappointed with them. They've grown on me now though and think they look really smart from side on.
I'm not keen on the spokes protruding from the rim, but it's not the end of the world. Improvements in handling and grip more than make up for the aesthetics.
When cymatty saw the wheels the other day, the first thing he said was how much better they looked in real life than in the pictures.... and I have to agree with him
Put a deposit down today for this VW Golf S 1.6ltr 5-Door X-Reg:
First car, didn't specifically go out looking for a Golf - they just had it conveniently at my local dealership plus it had 5 doors and was a bit more than a 1-1.2ltr (which is all I really cared about). I've just read up on it, and it's really not that economical/high CO2 and it's done 60k which is good for its age - but hopefully it's reliable as I hope VW's are! Also I'm pretty sure I could sell it on for 60-70% next year, so good investment I hope.
Once I sort out all the bits and bobs, I should be able to have it by next week.
Oh, and it was valeted when I tested it so it's a bit more polished up than it looks in that pic.

They probably do!
Hope you enjoy them as much as i enjoy my O.Z.'s, they really do make good wheels. I just need to get some Proxes now i think!

Old wheels were much better imo, the new ones make it look like an even worse old rover.
