Revo do one for this car but they charge a little too much for my liking so went for a custom map at big fish tuning who did it on the fly. The difference wasn't that noticeable at high speed but at low speeds in particular before 70mph, the car felt really quick. It needs another map now as I've since fitted an exhaust system (Nothing too loud as I live in a quiet neighborhood, but gives a nice pop on gear changes).

BTW I love your Black ST! Your new splitter is spot on!

OOOoooo nice. That's quite a large increase in power, the Mountune Kit i have on my ST is only 15bhp increase but i think it's more about the torque increase. Is there quite a good modding route to take on the 1.2 TSI?

And thanks, don't really want to go overboard with styling so a subtle splitter and black badges will do! :D

Yeah sometimes its not all about the BHP figure, it's torque that propels you forward and gives you that momentum. There is but it's hard to source the parts, like the full exhaust system including downpipe/decat can only be imported from Europe (Not sure which country) as far as I know and that's made by SuperSprint. I know someone who has gone for the hybrid turbo route as well but need stronger internals for that kinda of power hike. Otherwise it's just the usual mods like exhaust, maps, induction and intercoolers.

Haha same, it's all about the subtle bits! You want people to double take when you drive past, not stare at your because your car looks ridiculous lol.

I thought I'd dig out some pics of a few of my previous cars. You can definitely see a theme...

Had a couple of these, but this was the cleanest one.

Mk2 5 door with a 2l 16v ABF on digi

Mk1 gti with a 1.8 16v KR on k-jet

Early Mk2 8v gti

Late spec Mk2 gti with a 2.1 16v

The silver mk1 16v just before I sold it all cleaned up with the correct plastic bumpers.

I've had about 20 different vw's and audi's over the last few years but the S2 avant I posted up above still has to be my favourite car yet.

Having a bit of a bad time and sold my E39 to buy a mk3 mondeo TDCi ghia x.

Thought it would help me save for an F10; but i detest it. My biggest car mistake to date :(

Edit, picture take with potato
