Yeah it's definitely a young "lads" car.

I dislike them highly modified too but don't think it's too much of a "young lads" car, I see it as in exactly the same boat as the 80s Escorts and 90s Sierras being all "done up" back then but instead of being by the younger generation it's often by the same people that had the Escorts and Sierras they've just moved on to something modern. Most of the people I see driving highly modified Focuses or with them at shows certainly aren't young, they make you look young. :o

The focus RS is awful in my opinion, the lighting on the intercooler speaks for itself. It looks pre chav modded from the factory to me, not cool.

This weeks hire car. Its alright, very practical/average...at least its better than the Corsa 'limited edition' I had last month. This RAV4 seems to have a decent spec, reverse camera which definitely comes in handy. Has anyone here driven one? I think underneath it is the same as the mazda etc crossover? :o

I think that is every teenage boys wet dream. I think its nice but I'm too old to drive something like that :D

As a 19 year old, that is far from it for me. Always hated the 'tat' people stick to their cars, neon light's or bodykit additions like the rear spoiler that at best would add downforce to the rear wheels of a front wheel drive car. Especially without the addition of a substantial enough front splitter. (I know it's for looks, but i'm a function over form guy. :D)

A lightened, lightly tuned EK9 CTR would be far more to my taste. BUT, all to their own of course. :)

Back from having it's gearbox replaced, gave it a very quick wash and started to put her back to stock (which will please a few I guess) :p

Amber indicators have been sold, trying to source a good condition chrome grill but will have to go to BMW at this rate, wheels are staying though, I like em :D Number plate will be stuck back on, it's been off the road not long after the front end was painted so haven't had much of a chance to get it stuck back on.

I've also got a set of OEM xenon headlights to go on, plus the Clubsport splitters.

Whats going on with the numberplate in the window?

The front end was resprayed, and I left it off while the paint cured after reading a few posts on various forums. A few days later the gearbox failed so it's been off the road since then.

I'm waiting for some 3M VHB double sided tape to arrive so I can get it stuck back on :)
