I know these are E39s, but the combinations are also available in the E46 and the two I'd ever want :o

God no. I think the red leather BMW do would be about as lairy as I would get on interior colour schemes. Cream / black or a mashup of the two for me in everything else.

I remember seeing a D2 Audi A8 once with a mauve or purple leather interior. I was like "someone went into an Audi dealership, was offered the swatches for a completely custom interior and that was the colour they chose. Out of ALL of them". The only thing I've see that could match that A8 for being horrific was a Lincoln towncar with a blue interior. Everything was blue. Even the plastics.

picked up my new car the other day. A Focus ST-3 2012. all extras bar the sunroof.

There is a blue leather combo I saw on Autotrader once, it was in an M3 that had Laguna Seca paintwork. Looked like a smurf had died inside of it.

Nice ST. Mountuned?

no ST is standard power, 250 is enough for my daily driver. my 350bhp cosworth is my weekend toy.

the nav screen is bigger then the normal one. if you get the nav pack it upgrades the screen to a 5", big enough tbh when you are sat in it.

How do they compare? I loved my ST170, such a great car to drive upto and beyond its limit, could have done with a touch more power but because of that meant you could really exploit it. That one looks almost identical to my old one! Except yours still has both its washer covers - I gave up after the second set miraculously disappeared!

In 1996 it might have been but it seems somewhat bizarre that they'd have such a tiny screen these days. It must be a total pain to use with everything crammed into such a small space?!

The ergonomics of the current Fiesta are terrible. So many buttons, confusing buttons, tiny screen, screen miles away, no touch screen. Just awful.

What he said still applies to the Focus though. The interior is such a backwards step from the mk2 which wasn't great in itself!

what does that have to do with anything.

Quite a lot, it helps define your frame of reference.

is this a my dads bigger than your dad type of thing.

You've just openly slated the guys purchase - which is fair enough, its the internet and everyone is entitled to an opinion but if you are going to do that you have to realise it opens your opinion up to question, surely?!
