Show Us Your Motors!

No pics of the back seats??? I'm guessing there's something nasty back there, like a small crease in the leather? :p

Thought it was about time to make a proper effort and take some photos rather than the odd snap in a supermarket carpark :p

I've had the car for almost 7 months now and I'm still really happy with it. Very much looking forward to taking it to Germany next month - hopefully it won't snow because if it does we'll be in the Mini instead :(

Really not seeing the 'proper effort' TBH  Awesome car, nice location, photo spoilt by the generic hatchbacks in the background. :p

Anyway, I'm more interested to know why you've blanked out your number plate? Previously you've poured scorn on people who do so?

Please accept my apologies, I will refrain from posting in Show Us Your Motors again until such time as I've rented a studio, purchased a DSLR and a copy of Lightroom and worked out how to use it :p

My point was that it was better than a snap of a dirty car in Sainsburys carpark :p

Its the bottom bit of the seat, look at the angle! Your knees are up in the air.

It might look odd but it's the correct way to set the seat - which is why office chairs etc have a tilt function too.

Having your arse really low and knees higher is a lot comfier though as Fox says. The bucket seats in my ST are similar and when I drive our normal Fiesta they feel like I'm driving on a bar stool and it's awful.

Good stuff. :p

But you've ignored my main question: why have you blanked out your number plate when you've previously pointed out to others who do so that it's a pointless endeavour?

Dunno, everyone else seems to do it so it seemed like a prudent idea. Don't think I've pointed out it's pointless for years though? Looking back through my photos I always appear to have done it.

Beautiful colour Fox. Always really loved it, despite many feeling it's marmite. Second best to Estoril Blue in my opinion, and Phoenix Yellow always suited the E46.

Shame there's a rubbish diesel F10 blocking most of the photo :p

For once this quarter of the year it has not rained mere hours after I've washed it. Bit of moisture in the air though...

It's amazing how worse a car looks with a tax disc on the windscreen. Much cleaner without. Now if only the front licence plate could be "optional"...

The CA in your first photo is especially bad, your grill looks purple :p

And lastly in the fog around Basingstoke last night. It was rather dicey driving to a mate's house at 1:45AM, dicey but fun :p

i think the problem is fox it looks like it very well COULD be a supermarket car park in the first photo....you've not made any effort to isolate the car, it's just in the middle of a parking space with a load of other cars next to it, it's the exact definition of what you said you were trying to avoid :p
