My mate has a 500 Abarth (who equally likes his!) Compared to the Mini, i'm not sure if i'd have one myself, but cars like these are great fun. Enjoy!
 
Thanks chaps! Yeah, it goes really quite well as it only weighs about 1100kg, which means it has a pretty good power to weight ratio. Abarth claim 0-60 in 6.7, and I will probably do some very light fettling (nothing like I did before) to get circa 200bhp which I think will be more than enough.

The best part is the noise, which is fantastic.
 
I like the fast 500's... great fun little cars. I think anyone slating one hasn't sat behind the wheel. They don't pretend to be anything they're not.

No doubt they are great fun to drive, and it's much more powerful than my A3 is, but a friend has a normal 500 and those are horrible things. Watching it try and go up hills is amusing.
 
I really like the look of the Abarth 500's. I'm quite fond of my other half's regular Fiat 500. The problem with the Abarths is the hugely inflated price of them!
 
A mate's dad has an Abarth, snappy little cars those, very well proportioned and meaty looking.
 
yup love them too! :) it is expensive but quite rare(in that trim) and 180 horses for 1.1tone is quite nippy! IMO they're the SMALL hot hatch these days, kinda like mk1 golfs were back then.
