Show Us Your Motors!

Treated my old CRV to a valet today - really pleased with how it came up!

Probably about time I posted a pic or two of my new motor. A 2011 E92 M3 which has replaced my 335i. I've had it a month and have already driven some 2k miles, it really is a joy to drive. Love the character of the V8.

I know it's not everyone's choice of colour and I'm not usually a fan of white cars at all however I think it just works with the M3 and I definitely think I made the right choice.

M3!

The noise they make from induction is brilliant. Far, far better than the new one with its noise coming from the speakers. Now, don't lose it when exiting a roundabout! :D

The new M3 (M4) doesn't pump digital sounds via the speakers though does it, only the M5 does iirc?

But yes, N/A induction sound > Turbo for these.

Why not take some normal photos so we can actually see the proper colour of the car? 30k worth of car and you are using a £10 tesco phone to take the pictures :p

Awesome car though!

I take your point on the photos. I grabbed my SLR camera and lenses, drove all the way to the forest before realising that I hadn't put the battery in the camera. Doh! :o So yes, they were taken on my HTC phone and poorly processed. I'll get some decent ones this weekend if it's sunny, with an all important engine shot. :)

Love the Abarth, would never purchase one myself but my GF really wants a Fiat 500, hopefully I can convince her to get a more meaty version as I'd really like to have a go in one. Enjoy!

That will never happen, they have a brilliant traction control system. Wait.

M3 looks decent, the white does suit them but literally every other one is white. Guessing yours is Alpine? Manual or DCT?

You have no idea how happy I am now that Robbie coded folding mirrors to mine, heart genuinely sank the first time we tried it and it didn't work, now I lock and unlock the car various times just to watch them move :p

It is Alpine White, DCT.

I've managed to get into the habit of hitting the fold mirror button every time I exit or enter the car, however to have it on the key fob would be nice! Is it difficult to code?

You just need NCSExpert and a cable. You can probably do it with the Carly For BMW app too.

Stunning car BTW. :)

I have a BMW F20, I'd love to have folding mirrors. Can anyone code it for me?!

You can't code folding mirrors - if you don't have them you are missing the motors and switches to make them work.

What people are doing here is coding the already fitted folding mirrors to fold using the keyfob, something an F20 with folding mirrors already does from the factory.

Why did you expect to be able to code in an electric motor? :D
