I really like those, but they need to do a GTI ala Lupo GTI.

I enjoyed the 3-cyl engine in a Polo. Not much go but a great noise.

It's fantastic. I particularly like the fact that you have to operate a handle in order to open the windows. No silly mechanisms to go wrong that way. I don't need a silly button to move the door mirrors because I only need to adjust them once. Also the lack of central locking adds a nice additional security layer, and the lack of power steering isn't an issue because I am a human being and I have biceps.

A friends parents have one, theirs is specced to the dizzying heights of electric windows and heated seats, however the driver is unable to control the passenger window, so they need to lean over if they wish to lower/raise it. Stupid design is stupid.

All I want now is a faster TT. :p

Can you believe a woman I work with got rid of a perfectly good 2008 mk2.5 Focus 1.8 Zetec for one of those hideous UP's because it means more to her to have a new car with the number 15 on the plate:eek:
They oooze cheapness and the wheel trims are laughable but she would rather have a new car even though it's not in the same league as her Focus.
It's shocking how many people especially Women will buy the crappiest cars available or down grade a huge amount just to have a car with the current year on! :(

She probably thinks it is cute. Maybe she wanted a small and very economical car. :p

And that ABT UP looks awesome! If only it had 125HP or so, it would be an awesome car all round!

It doesn't, don't be fooled... :p

In fact, it comes in a 60PS variant too! The two standard engines basically.

ABT tune VAG cars. I'd be surprised if that Up! doesn't have a piggyback ECU fitted. Although if it's a loan car, they might have a tough time insuring a modified vehicle.

No really, I looked it up. :p

It just has cosmetic tweaks, a slightly different exhaust, and lowering springs.

You would be hard pressed to tune an N/A 3 cylinder motor anyway.

I do know what ABT usually do, but in this case it is just an upgrade "pack" type thing.

They do mention ECU tweaks or a turbo in the brochure, but there's no other detail on their website or the configurator. So I'd guess (especially if it's from a VW dealer) that it's just a stock 60 or 75 PS engine...

as above, just cosmetic changes around £2k all in all for the extras. 75ps I believe, but it does appear faster than it actually is. I'm yet to see another and doubt I will to be fair.
