Standard? A few friends are mx5 guys and out of all the cars mk1 and 2, none of them have had ABS.


Standard on Mk1 MX5 SE. Set of 2 UK limited edition runs in 1992/3 which have ABS as standard, as well as the tan leather interior, momo wheel/gearstick etc. I can promise you it has ABS!
 
My Car is getting detailed over the next few days, hopefully back with no swirls and gleaming. Its getting a coating of Gtechniq too.

I'll straighten my intercooler once it returns but this is the current picture with my new wheels on...

The last destination in the Sat Nav was Brindisi and his saved destinations included golf courses so I'm not surprised. Very, very clean inside. Outside rather rough but they're giving it a good ol' polish so we'll see how she comes out. The dark green is lovely in the sun.


Teeny 16s will be replaced with some 18" summer rubber very soon.

That's a brilliant colour scheme, nothing nasty about that.
It is a lovely colour scheme but the wood is surprisingly unpleasant. It looks a bit Japanese :eek:

Well, 163 actually as it's been reduced to fit into a lower tax band.

I put on my sensible hat. 2wd 4-pot for economy. It doesn't feel even remotely spritely, but it wafts so you don't get a real sense of speed.
Sounds awful on idle and sends all sorts of vibrations through the cabin so par the course :D

Just ran into the back of someone last week so my premium has increased significantly. A 2.7 or 3.0 would've been silly money I suspect, along with the increase Belgian registration tax.
2.0 - £500, 2.7 - £1000, 3.0 - £2000

Interior is nice but those 15 inch sofa casters you have chosen for Wheels just bring it down IMO :p
16" and I didn't spec the car :p

Just picked up some mint 18" S Line 5 spokes so those will go on as soon as I pick the car up.
I suspect it'll look a little odd sitting on stock suspension but too bad, it ain't getting dropped.
