No, Rainsport 3's on the front and Falken FK453's I think they are on the back, were on when I bought it and I put the Rainsports on not too long back.

Just looks like a pair of Falkens at the back and some Rainsports on the front? Obviously not ideal but there is often no way to avoid it if you want to change tyre model and your front/rear tyres have different wear rates, which of course most peoples will.

ST looks great in the pics. U happy with the paintwork and car now? How many times did they have to do it?
What colour is on the alloys? I want that colour on mine but not sure if it will go on performance blue

I'm never happy

I had it detailed to get rid of some buffer marks but there are still swirls after the paint has settled again in direct sunlight... so I need to find some stuff and just do it myself by hand as no matter what I spend it never goes to plan! Anything but direct sunlight it looks great. Not sure of wheel colour specifically. 3 times the car was painted haha. I will keep it for now but I've got itchy feet and keep looking at other cars

How are you getting on with your new one?

I've had the boost solenoid replaced and it's now boosting correctly to half way so turns out it was standard like the old guy told me when I bought it.
Managed to hit a bird doing 50mph and put a 6 inch split at front of bonnet :eek:

so been quoted £250 to repair that but I'm not sure they will match the performance blue properly as its an odd colour. Looks different in certain lights. So might just leave it.
Need to get it remapped now

just trying to decide where to go for it.

Glad the boost issues are sorted, does it pull OK over 4k now? I've never been in a standard one so not sure what they feel like! Ouch that isn't ideal about the bird... wounded. How close are you to Collins Performance? As their maps are smooth and progressive and they're just a tried and tested map from a quality company, mines a pretty quick car really, running about 290BHP and has a standard clutch fast approaching 70k and no signs of slipping yet which I think is helped by the smooth map. That's not to say it doesn't have a big dollop of torque when it comes on boost but it's not silly agressive

Yeh pulls all the way to 6k now. When the boost solenoid was faulty it was coming all at once and then dying at 4K which resulted in having to change gear but it's fine now.
Im in Merseyside so about 40 miles I think from Collins performance. I've heard they are very good!
Yeh I was a little worried about my clutch and getting it mapped with it being the original on 71k. I find the ST225 lacking something and a little boring the way it delivers the power at the minute so it defiantly needs more power to keep me entertained

Is there really any need to be a **** because you own a Porsche? The guy obviously loves his car and takes pride in its appearance. Why make him feel bad about that?

I'm surprised that people still post photos on this forum with the amount of abuse that gets hurled around.
