Show Us Your Motors!

Nice, i worked over in Bedford area for a while commuting through MK from West Oxfordshire, having 500hp through MK with their road layouts is a lot of fun! :D

Oh yes, I was going to take the RR but really had time to gel with the M5 more and it's been lots of fun.

The Range Rover isnt so suited to MK, all those roundabouts are a bit of an obstacle for it and then you have to haul yourself back up to speed after each one :p

Tom's Thorleys Work?

Cookie, yes Tom had it in for a bit whilst I was on hols. Still not perfect but needs more money chucking at it and big balls for Tom to go hard at that paint job haha.

As for rear lights, I can never make my mind up, I was gonna tint the fronts but I don't want to cheese it up, the last owner put it on and it's that fly eye stuff, easily removed to be fair (it's peeling off any way so only a matter of time :D )

Sort of :D It'll do, I've unfortunately become overly ridiculously picky now that's the problem. I went look @ new cars the other day, 20k beemers with worse finish than mine to be fair lol but I just want utter perfection, never happens with cars! :)

Will be soon. Feels fast enough with 180bhp though to be fair. Book figure is about 6 and a half seconds to 60 and 140mph top speed which feels quite fast in such a small car. Having been speaking to ProAlfa they say these cars can be easily taken to 200bhp with a remap on the stock turbo which isn't overly stressed.

on a 1.4

Haha yeah. Reliable enough engines though. The 695 which uses the same engine as this car has another 10bhp from factory so runs at 190bhp with no problems. 200 is a realistic figure. There are some people running 250+ on these cars, though the limitations of traction start to become a problem...there is an Italian guy who has come up with a stroker kit for them, but thats far too much investment for little realistic gain.

wingman you are asking all the wrong questions... I've already cut part of the interior up on a 3000 mile 15 plate car, why stop now!!:D

On the most recent 180 they did, it went from 182hp to 199 and 221lbs to 278lbs ft. Quite a jump in torque.

as said its the torque that you'll notice most.
it will go pretty well with 278lbs ft of torque its got to weigh the same as a bag of spuds
I don't understand why folk quote BHP its the torque that makes a difference.
