Back on my favourite road for the first time in a while. :)

"...and here... in the clearing of the A549... we have the aging Japanese Z in all it's bronze glory..."

That's what you get when you buy number plate LEDs from ebay. I'd like to change to LED on my nissan but don't want one of those stupid ones with the power of the sun. Probably best just getting the factory LED lamp out of an Audi or BMW.

The ebay ones are silly bright but because they're so cheap that only lasts about a week, after that you get just a normal intensity white light.

Somewhere over the Peak District during the weekend.

Lovely! Still enjoying it? Anything you wish you knew before purchasing?

Sold my Focus ST and replaced it with a well loved Volvo S40....

The change from a 30 miles a day commute to a 100 miles necessitated the replacement of that lovely 2.5 5 pot with my first ever diesel. Could not afford the fuel to run it!

Nice, I think the S40 is a great looking car. It's got the right wheels too.

ST is good but terrible fuel economy.

Marmite as in some people love it and some hate it :p I love it!

Part ex. my Cee'd GT, no extra deposit, £327 a month with three years free servicing to boot

Thought I recognised that picture. Jam0r from Kia OC? I bet the rides a lot smoother than the Ceed' GT? I'll be keeping my Cee'd GT for a while longer yet...

That's me. I'm all over the shop me haha

Ride is softer but you still 'sporty' and handles pretty well for the size. Seems to have more grip which is probably mostly down to the new tyres.

Overall a nicer package IMO compared to the Cee'd and averaging around 28/29mpg compared to the 24/25 I got out of the Cee'd.

Looks nice does that. Did you get what you wanted for your ST? :)

I dont envy you, going from that beautiful sounding Volvo T5 to a 4 cylinder diseasal, but the car does look very smart. :)

I should make a similar move really, I could swap my 40MPG (at a push) car for a 70MPG car considering the fact that I do over 2500 miles some months now, but I cannot bring myself to... Especially since I don't know how long I'll be doing that sort of mileage for!

The BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH~ is strong. :p

I got quite close to what I wanted when I dropped the price a little!

Did think of a diesel once, then thought about self harming.

Dunno what's worse. I think one would lead to the other.

:p

Calm down gents, I still have my SLK55 tucked up in the garage when I need to remember what a petrol engine is like :D

Does your S40 have the handbrake that can destroy the fingers of the passenger?

My sister had one, I had my hand down by the side of me, she puts the handbrake on and it has that stupid extra bit on the back of the handbrake, so that came back and destroyed my small finger Sad times :(
