Mismatched tyres on the driven axle? Rather you than me
Says a lot about the previous owner as well :/

@Acme - interior looking good! I'm actually slightly jealous of this purchase. Always had a soft spot for the E30 Touring and the 325i. Win/win. What's the catch? :p
It's a 1 owner car with it having been serviced solely at a main dealer so I did think it a bit weird. It's not like I'm driving like a lunatic so it doesn't bother me for the time being. I do want to get some better rubber on there but it's not a priority at the moment.

Rubbish!!! Bin it and buy a Prius.

Acme drop it on coilovers and put some £2k bbs on it.

Jokes aside you've done a cracking job on the interior. Well done mate.

I already have a set of 5 genuine 15" BBS basketweaves with BMW centre caps (factory option) ready and waiting to go on. I am planning on doing something with the suspension, but nothing ludicrous. More 'OEM Plus' than 'slammed'.

And thanks, but really all I've done is cleaned it, and fitted new seats and mats. It should look even better when I next post a picture of it. :)

Get some stainless steel tips on that backbox Acme. Will smarten it up no end.

Haha I may do something of the sort, but I need to remember there are more pressing matters to address before things like that. I shouldn't really have done the interior yet, its all a bit backwards! :D

Quick interior pic.

I hate to think how often the previous driver scratched their balls in that car  . If the previous owner was female then...:eek:

It looks alright, BUT does it drive as well as an Astra H? ;) Much better with the leather seats. My dad had them in his E30 320i back in the day.

It'll be slammed in a month. He's already got the ugly wheels coming for it so it'll be 'scene'

The optional BBS' vs the 14" bottlecaps it has at the moment. :) Plus the BBS's are in good nick, and the bottlecaps are heavily corroded.

Most likely not, but it does make a much better noise! :D

Are the touring ones leather or vinyl?

Genuine question as they don't look the same as the leather ones I had in the cab, although I think mine were leather sports ones (more leg bolster etc.).

From the day I got the car, before I fed the leather:

I'm sure I have some fed pictures, but anyway, you get the idea I'm on about, very different style of seat. Also, the stock (option) BBS wheels do look good on the E30, I had two sets of 5, one set on the cab and one set on the touring.

E: Start a thread already! ;)

There were several leather options, comfort leather and sports leather, in at least two colours (possibly three or four? I think you could get black, cream, dark blue and red, but blue and red are incredibly rare)

Mine are black comfort leather. They are leather in the centre and vinyl on the edges. The fronts look quite shiny because they have been re-coloured. Thats as far as I know anyway.

Yours were sports leather yeah, bigger bolsters and an adjustable front bit. I would have preferred those but an unripped sports leather interior could go for upwards of £1000 these days.

No offense Acme, but surprised you aren't attempting some sort of re-spray yourself haha.

I guess the results may be a bit more obvious on a larger car ;)

2011 BMW M3 Alpine White Competition Pack with 7sp DCT.

Picked it up last night in the pouring rain so taking it easy. All the spec I wanted (EDC, Pro Nav, dynamic lights and Fox Red interior). Was owned by a detailer and it is absolutely mint with 34k miles on the clock, correct MPSS tyres too.

Logical upgrade from an S2000 and loving all the tech. Stuff like High beam assist is very useful.

GT86, Cupra and an M3 on one page makes for awesome viewing.

Cupra being a much better ride than the 640d though? That's pretty awful for the BMW (or amazing for the SEAT)...
