E-Class finally arrived.
220D with a variety of extras, the stand out of which is so far definitely drive pilot. Not tried the multibeam headlights in earnest yet, but they look cool when they turn on with the dancing patterns and the blue accents.
Interior:
I know everyone that has to settle for a 4 cylinder engine when they really wanted a 6 cyl says this...but I'm seriously impressed with this engine.
55mpg on the 130 miles back from the dealer, but with plenty of power when needed...not that I ever felt like using it really; it's just so relaxing and comfortable, especially when the car can drive itself for much of the journey.
I'm also pretty impressed with the Burmester sound system, now that I've disabled the surround mode and bass EQ that the dealer applied.

This can't be acmeLove that interior. And nice to see a speccy luxury estate without massive comfort-ruining wherls IMO!

The interior of the old E class was fairly terrible compared with the 5 series. But the new model is absolutely stunning.
Lovely interior
When I tried one out I wasn't convinced with the 2 screen dashboard and the slug on top of the scroll wheel just gets in the way.
If ever a car cloaked a great interior in ordinary exteriorlol at everyone complementing the interior. Being as the exterior is hideous
