Show Us Your Motors!

Think the most I'd want to go FWD would be about 400~ from a MK2 RS or something. And even then you would need stupidly sticky tyres. Seen a fair few 400HP FWD builds, from SR20 Primeras to Volvos to Saabs to diesel Skodas, and I don't think any more than that would be sensible! :p

I managed to get out for the first proper drive of the year on Sunday morning. These are the first photos of the car since having the wheels recoloured and spaced - looking much better in my opinion.
Shame it wasn't sunny as well, so I only used the phone camera, but at least it was a dry and mild morning :)

What is this like?

And have you ever thought it need more power (torque to be more specific)?

I love it. And yes....the amount of power isn't the problem. Its the way it's delivered. There's a big torque hole right in the midrange which I reckon is the cause for all the criticism, and which was my only gripe with the car. I've modified mine with a new exhaust header and remap which has flattened the torque dip and raised peak power about 10% or so. Its still not a "powerful" car, but its much more felixible and you don't get that disappointing lull in acceleration right in the midrange.

Took this home yesterday. 410bhp on the daily map with just over 500bhp on the naughty mode :)

I overtook you on the a50 last Sunday. Sounded nice. Didnt realise it was so powerful! Looked very clean also.

Aha, small world, what were you in?
Yeah I'd have just been collecting it last Sunday before I joined the M6, great timing :D

No longer so clean though. Hopefully the rain breaks long enough this weekend.
