The E30 sounds like I'm driving a van with all the interior rattles. I'm hoping that when I put the interior back together with all new clips and do everything up nice and tight, it will be much better... The Toyota similarly to your Lexus is whisper quiet inside. There are two slight buzzing noises but I know where they are both coming from and I just haven't sorted them yet. (Passenger side tweeter trim, and glove-box lock)

A couple from our roadtrip to Utah, the first after a quick clean in SLC to clean the winter gunk off, then the second a few days later after we covered it in dust on the dirt trails (and the GF Grafittied the back...).

Unfortunately after seeing some very nice toys we now want to modify it a little... Level, small lift and nicer tyres may be on the list for a start... :o

How are you finding owning it in general? My Audi has broken down yet again and I’m seriously considering something like that as my next car. Anything you wish you’d known before you bought one?

It needs lifting about 8", the wheels need to move outwards about 6", bigger wheels/tyres and straight pipe. Then you can look like this guy :p

Love it. We came from a 2010 SCAB we had for a couple of years before this so knew almost exactly what we were getting. The lighter weight and more powerful engine makes it feel a lot more sprightly, and it’s a lot more refined in and out.

The GF is still not a huge fan of driving it in town due to size, but you get used to it, and as I commute by train it’s only really used at weekends, mostly driving to the mountains or long haul trips. That’s about the only negative aside from the fuel economy, even the V6 isn’t any more frugal in the real world, but with fuel prices as they are it’s not the end of the world.

I’m looking for something a little more subtle :p, although do have a niggle in the back of my mind to put on a Rouch supercharger... Not going to help from an overlanding perspective though! :o

And lovely Jeep Si., needs lifting too though! :p

Do it!

Oh I missed the 10" waste paper bin exhaust off my list ;)

I really want a lifted F250 but, even if I could afford it, I don't really want to spend $100k on a pickup.

Just cut your losses and get a Raptor. I’ve had the last 2 generations and the new V6 model is an absolutely fantastic car. They also just don’t lose money either, we sold our first one with 30k miles on it for $1000 less than I bought it for new.

Haha. As much as a lifted truck would be nice I could never see myself living with it day to day.

And Acme, stacks only really work if you’re running a diesel, so you can get the achrid smokescreen every time you pull off.:D

Don’t come with a 6.5’ bed length unfortunately. :(. That said we’re moving away from sleeping directly in the bed so perhaps our next one. The GF loves them too :D How do you find it day to day? Especially the width and ride?
