How could I have missed Aston, yep agreed I think the British are now making some of the very best sports, super and hyper cars there is though of course with some help from other countries in money and parts. ;)
 
I went to the Aston day at Bealieu just over a week ago, I'll pop some pics on the encounters thread later, but they all sounded glorious.

There is a program on Netflix called faster car or something like that where 3 sleepers take on a super car on the quarter mile. You had some real die hard dragsters with some serious kit. 9 second cars easy if you can hook it up. They all got beat by some photography kid in a huracan who had to watch a YouTube video on how to enable launch control!

That’s episode 2 and I laughed at that one, didn’t think he’ll do it but the dealer was right, even his grandma can launch that car.

I think nitro is a bit of a cheat, that kind of speed and acceleration is not sustainable whereas the Lamborghini can do that run back and forth all day long.
 
I normally love boxes but that thing is hideous, horrible interior too. So dreary, and that centre console is just nasty. Impressive straight-line performance, especially given its weight though - got to give it that.
 
As per this thread, I was fairly limited in terms of my requirements :) Fair point on the outside (I actually like it as it's somewhat understated) but the interior is great compared to the rivals I looked at.
 
Not a huge fan of the exterior but it's fairly inoffensive
but the interior is absolutely cracking smashes the competition out the water including the X5, merc GLE (properly crap interior), and probably on a par with the XC90

Was in one of these (for a long journey) a few weeks back. Very comfortable and impressive piece of kit!
