It looks like a very early 00s car, meaning it looked aged on debut. Now it's beyond dated and is such an ugly and awkward design. Same can be said for all of BMs efforts in that era. The E81/7 is vomit inducing.

I think it’s aged well. It was never what you’d call a conventional good looking car but I’ve always liked it.

Not sure I would have wrapped it in the same blue that every other newer BMW has though.

New set of wheels, centre caps and tyres on S2000 though upon getting home I have discovered garage have fitted none XL tyres on rear and I specifically requested 95Y XL for rear in writing so hoping they get them swapped out without hassle but a shame for them as tyres are technically not new now as I've just put 10 miles on them.

However love the AP2v1 wheels and can't wait to see the finish sparkle in the sun being diamond cut and sparkle silver:

new wheels ? what were they before Gibbo ?

may i ask why you specified XL tyres on that car ?

To get correct speed ratings and Honda S2000 are notoriously sensitive to incorrect tyre loads and soft sidewalls, to be honest it seems to drive OK and the front end feels brilliant but the rear does not feel as sharp as the Goodyear F1AS5 did, the previous wheels I have kept which have brand new F1AS5 on and they are awesome tyres, these I am trying the Continental Premium Contact 6 but hard to comment until rears changed. Garaged just confirmed on FB for me to order correct ones and get delivered there and they shall swap over and then credit/refund me the invoice I just paid for new ones, top service.

Here is a picture of car on other wheels which I also like too:

i had a feeling they had Honda centre caps on both, i guess that was what threw me , as i thought they where the same ones ! lol

Yep I disliked the 08-09 ones when I got the car but they have really grown on me but I do prefer the AP2v1 that got ftted today and cannot wait to see them in sunlight as should really pop. :)

That's a mint looking S. :) just browsing through the forum on VR hoping to find out when the rift will be in stock and stumbled into motors! haha. Had to make an account after that!
Cool that you have the two highest power per litre N/A engines produced though! was that intentional?
Here's my s2000.

Can’t be true surely? I know it’s up there but don’t think it is the highest?

Well what is the highest specific output NA engine ever featured in a production car? Only other NA engines I can think of is GT3 and maybe Lamborghini but only certain models of GT3 also rev to 9000rpm as per the 458 and S2000 do so not sure the S2000 and 458 were ever toppled apart from maybe the GT3.
