Working hard yesterday. You don’t even notice the weight in the back - it was slow without a load, and it’s still slow with one :p

It's perfect cannot fault the car at all :) The whole dynamic of just getting in the car and driving is always an event. Gearbox, engine, steering is all pin-point and fun and engaging to drive. Not sure if a heavier diesel engine would change that but been RWD it's quick off the line. Try and get the 2.0T 280 Veloce and fall in love with driving again!

If you have any specifics just give me a shout. Piccadilly Motors in Ripon have the same Veloce atm brilliant service center.

Picked up on Saturday, my new Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8. Hemi 6.1L.

RX8 will be going in the coming weeks and I can't find a picture of my 350Z Roadster weirdly lol... and I have my Mazda Xedos 9 Supercharger Miller.

Theres one of these near me that obviously has an aftermarket valved exhaust.

gave him the nod and he floored it with open pipes by christ it made me smile what a ridiculously brilliant invention.

surprised they didnt need to re surface the road after him :D

Yeah cheers man, I'm falling in love with the thing just simply because it's so stupid. The way it launches off the line is mental, I posted this the other day on my thread but it hit 0-60 in 4.9s in the pouring rain... I mean... jesus :-)

@geekman is car jacking a thing out there? Watched a video where some dudes tried to block and intercept . Probably less of a chance in an old r.. ride

Stay safe Holmes!

It's definitely a thing in some states, and certain parts of the border zone, but not where I live. I used to have a range rover which I drove all over the country and to the US multiple times with no issues, and I still drive 40-50k cars fairly regularly with no problems either. As you say though, a definite advantage of the truck is that everyone thinks you're poor. :p

Like everywhere, a lot of staying safe is about common sense: I always use the toll roads when I drive between states, and would never drive to small, out of the way places late at night for example. For me, following those kinds of rules is a small price to pay for the benefits I get from living here, but of course it isn't for everyone.

Thanks, sounds good. My nearest dealers are Mangoletsi (Knutsford) and Beechdale (Derby). I've ran the PCP numbers and they're pretty horrific, so at best I think I'll hold on until after lockdown!

Nice Taxi, do you live on an industrial estate? Just seems like an odd mix of a single house then factory units?

Another poster was talking about part of France where they live (west side) I dropped into street view out of curiosity was quite a weird mix of commercial/residential as well not like we have here really but what I found amusing was how many instances there were of decrepit, literally falling apart, residential places with expensive cars outside (Audi RS, Mustangs, etc.) then really nice houses with older basic model Citroens, etc. on the drive.
