Probably the most risky thing you can do with a nice car. Park it in a place used by legions of blue rincer’s! Managed to find the best space….but still worried for 2 hours until I got back. Devon, the land that time forgot.

Give me Toxtith any day

It is and it’s epic. I got back from London late last night and my trip from station to home on empty roads was a delight. It is so fast A to B now it has decent tyres. Should be illegal frankly with the noise it makes.

yes i wonder about the noise with mine too but it's only really loud if you floor it, i'm getting new rims and tyres too, i bought a set of OZs but they won't be here for ages yet, the front bumper has to resprayed in two weeks as well which is MEGA expensive simply because it's a nightmare to get off

i'll get the OEM original wheels stripped and refurbished, but i expect she'll be a garage queen over winter anyway; if it rains all the time.

the Roadster he had for sale was the same as yours, it's very classic looking with the long bonnet, it's like a Le Mans car from years ago, it's amazing how many Merc V8 AMGs cars there are, different models i mean.

Very unusual number plate shape at the front. Is that OEM and do you need to get them ordered by Honda?

It's a fourdot plate, Honda use them as an OEM option on the UK NSX's. I used to run no front plates but got caught a few times my the local police so cba taking the risk everytime I go out and about.

Correct!

I'm really not a fan of small number plates. They usually just look odd in the space that's meant for a full-size one.

The rear plate is full size to fill the OEM surround, the yellow area is reduced to fit the smaller digit count.

So, the misses has pulled rank when my dreams off changing my Kia ProCeed GT for a Stinger where squashed and she is now changing her car instead.

Her trusty and reliable 59 plate Abarth 500 which she has owned since 2015 has been replaced whilst there was still a little value in the car.

Been an Abarth nut and loving hers the choice was between either a 595 Compitizone or 695 Rivale. Both very similar but she prefers the Rivale, so that's what she has got.

The 695 Rivale is a special edition born from the collaboration between Abarth and Riva.

There was 3000 made altogether in the world with the first 350 been the 695 Rivale 175 anniversary edition. within the 350 made, 175 are convertibles and 175 hardtop. The next 2650 are special editions and are a mixture between convertibles and hardtops.

Kit wise it's running 180 bhp out of a 1.4 T-Jet engine with a Garrett GT1446 turbo, Brembo brakes all round, Koni suspension and a lovely Akrapovic exhaust.

It should keep the misses happy for a fair few years.

Prices seem really strong for these cars. Considering the underpinnings are as old as the original I Phone. It seems quite mad.

Car looks nice however. They really nailed the design of the 500 all those years ago.

Can't get too excited about an Abarth special edition. Aren't they all special editions? My old boss swapped his Monza edition for a Yamaha or something...

yeah, they really did. not much has changed. They make great city cars and for something a little more fun then the Abarth's are great to drive. Given there not the fastest thing out there, but for some reason they have so much character for a small car.

Must admit, thats one thing they've done wrong in my eye's. The amount of different "special" editions is crazy for one brand.
It will actually be interesting which models, if any can hold any sort of value.

So, posted misses Abarth last night. Thought i'd put mine up this morning.
I don't actually drive my car much (have a work van) although it does get used going to Liverpool games a lot as it's comfier then the Abarth, so when i went last looking i wanted something that ticked a few boxes.

Something that was comfy, had few toys, something that had a little power (didn't need to be fast) and something that had a little warranty.

So considering everything and the fact my Dad has owned 2 Kia Sportage's that have been great cars and went and picked a Kia ProCeed GT.
With a 1.6T engine which produces 201BHP hitting 0-60 in 7.3 secs made it quick enough for me (although now warranty is expired next year i'll prob remap it).
Had the car since November 2018 which i purchased private sitting on 17,000 miles, think at the minute it's sitting on about 27,000 and other then the original battery failing and boot latch retainer clip breaker (£20 to replace) it's been a faultless car.

Toys wise, it has adaptive xenon headlights, cruise, sat nav, rear camera, heated steering wheel, heated recaro seats, cooled glovebox, keyless entry to name a few. V1vF15V.jpg VNPPPVa.jpg BRftXJK.jpg QDF1ct0.jpg 4pYF5Uy.jpg
