Great cars, just be very very careful in the wet on Cup2s, they can be quite volatile on a GT4.

Love it, silver wheels really set it off.
On the Exige the cup 2’s can be lethal so be careful.

Nice, enjoy.

Man that is epic

Thanks all, Cup2 indeed can’t really deal with anything over 5k rpms today. Still sounds mega though. Will do a proper write up once I’ve got some miles and track time under my belt.
Already been monstered by a Golf R on a dual carriageway, that’s the sports car right of passage done

The CUP2s on my Exige were a lot more confidence inspiring in the wet than GT4. On GT4 they have this response where they will just let go even under minor throttle at low speeds, in quite an unpredictable way. The GT3 struggled for grip in the wet, but was at least more predictable.

PS4S are a good swap if using the car as a daily.

On a dry track, the CUP2s are amazing on that car. Enjoy :)

I think a good step up from the 4C and it will be significantly quicker on track than the 4C too. Cup tyres need respect, not least in this weather, but when they are working really are epic. I was all for swapping mine off as they felt different to what I came from but now wouldn’t change them as I understand them more now I’ve added 10k miles on the tyre.

Nice choice, I test driven the 2.0 and absolutely loved it but can't justify the cost to change from my civic at the moment. Looks like Excel spec, seats are really nice in the Excel and GR

I’m rather impressed by it. Excellent economy, reliability and low maintenance. It’s rather spacious inside as well and fits the bill well.

The sun finally came out again today :D

I think this may be my new favourite of this thread.

Some truly beautiful machines here

What happened to the 9-5?
Well... Monday before Christmas the engine management light came on. All seemed ok, get it booked in to my usual garage for the Wednesday. On my way home from work that night I drove over something, think it may have been a metal bar of some sort, which buckled my front wheel (taking the tyre off the rim), cut/tore through both my power steering and coolant piping, and punctured my rear tyre. After a very, very long recovery process I ended up slightly annoyed, and drove the car to local scrap dealer.

In hindsight, it probably would have been better to have fixed it (or at least to get a quote lol).

Picked this up recently, M3 SMG, has had Rod Bearings, Head Gasket, Vanos, Boot Floor, all the usual jobs done. Had it for a good price as it needs a clutch and the paint work re-doing on the front end. Always wanted an E46 M3 so just an itch to scratch. Will do a couple of track days in it too, has HSD Coilovers, 8 Pot K Sport Brakes so should be fairly ok on track. I wasnt sure if I wanted an SMG, but after driving this I was more than happy! Anyways, here she is :

Looks lovely that, I do miss mine such great and timeless cars. May I ask what you got it for please just to see if they still experiencing strong ramp up in values.

£13500, which isn't bargain of the century, but a car with the spec and work has had done isn't bad. Biggest selling point to me was all the big jobs done, plus more, also no rust!

I also really like the way the car looks, it's pretty much as I want one to look, apart from I want a CSL boot
