I think so too, but they seem to Matt black (painted) and not entirely sure what to try using on them. Quite tempted to get some fresh chrome exhaust tips for it.

Mine seemed the same but cleaned them up with a wire brush drill attachment, wire wool and autosol. Posted in the car cleaning thread.

Wouldn’t the wire wool just strip the paint completely off? I’ve got autosol but I was pretty certain the competition cars had the exhaust painted black. I’ll have a better look later.

AFAIK the comp exhausts are black, but glass black and not sure if painted...I'd be cautious with wire wool & autosol etc...

Just a good polish on them will probably be sufficient.

The Lotus was covered in bits of rubber after the last track day so it got a good wash, de-tarring and coat of wax, plus the Aston got same treatment, so a pair clean of Brits again.
