Show Us Your Motors!

Nice photo spot, where's that?
I first saw the pic and wasn't a fan of the two-tone, then when scrolling back up I think I like it on second look :) Imagine it being quite a marmite look though and over time would probably grate. Beautiful car though.

West Kirby marine lake on the Wirral :)

Aston is such a great looking car, especially when clean:

The newer Vantage has never grown on me looks wise though the AMR F1 editions look nice these older models are still the better looking and more impressive sounding cars, plus manual too. :)

Easily your best car @Gibbo, maybe not in performance but if I could have any of the cars in your garage, I wouldn't even have to think about it. Beautiful cars

Whilst I'm not financially qualified to to be picky about a Vantage, the interior on these doesn't seem to match the exterior. The steering wheel looks really awkward.

Just typed that then looked them up, didn't realise how old early ones are. Some are sub 30k too. Maybe I am financially qualified (I'm not :D)

Aston has a cache most manufacturers can only dream of and it’s brand is one of the top 3 in the world in most surveys.

I like Aston as they have made some stunning cars over the years, not least that DBS from the first Daniel Craig film. First time I saw that I just gawped, blown away that they could get the lines so right.

Last one I drove was a DBS and even with 700bhp it left me a bit meh. Kinda sums them up for me, love them but don’t really want one. Now if I had Gibbo’s collection then having an Aston in there makes total sense….when it’s parked up or you want to have a nice Sunday drive out.

@Gibbo absolutely great looking car, only minor criticism would be the standard number plate plinth - looks so bulky, better without imo

Yeah I get that but in all honesty I just like keeping it totally original and its quite low miles for the age, a manual too so value has been going up over past couple of years.

The early 4.3's are pretty cheap now, but at one time you could pick one up quite easily for 20k, whereas even a 4.3l now for a nice one is like 30k, the 4.7l is the better car, the extra 40HP makes quite a difference and the interiors had a slight revamp and then again on the later cars.

Mine has been fine, only minor niggles like TPMS valves going and odd relay. They need use and a servicing by a good specialist or someone DIY handy as the are not the simplest of cars when it comes to oil changes due to dry sump etc. and the two-piece brakes can be quite costly to replace so all things to check when buying, also clutches can have short lives and again are not particular cheap or easy to replace.

They are a great drive, but they take time to master as the controls are quite heavily weighted.

One of the best looking cars of all time IMO @Gibbo. AM were absolutely on fire when they brought this and the DB9 out.

Totally agree, sorely miss my DB9. Tempted to get another one alongside the 360 but concerned of lack of use between them. I keep checking for any leggy cheap ones that come up as I miss that driving position, the engine and just the whole thing.

Never been so fascinated with a car and nothing moved me as much as the Aston did, deep I know..

Fell for the F bug though..

Mountune GPF back, standard cat and GPF.
Your picture is making me really want one, I didn't expect the tips to make such a nice noticeable difference, over the cut mild steel stock ones.
I had the mountune exhaust on my Mk3.5, but that was mainly because the stock exhaust was so quiet on that car. I don't have the same urge in terms of sound this time, but it looks so nice. Also currently insurance is less hassle with no "peformance" mods.... hmmm.
