@Ahleckz & @Cleisthenes - we did this in Florence a few years back in conjunction with a wine tasting. Was an amazing experience! Amazing little cars to drive and even better when you’re pootling between vineyards!

We used this company and would recommend!

I used https://www.walkaboutflorence.com/. However I think 500TouringClub is better if you can get out to their garage, it’s a bit of a journey but nothing too bad tbh! Walkabout pick you up in a bus and take you to their garage, though there isn’t a wine tour albeit there is a nice lunch on a nice terrace. We were pushed for time so wanted the convenience.

Great fun though! Walkabout also have a classic Vespa tour, which is ran with the Fiat 500. When I did it there were 7 Vespas and just me and my missus in the 500. Think it cost around £170 for the two of us.

Thank you :) I have to say the website looks a bit dodge though

Ideally I think we'd just get one for a few hours as we're only there a few days, so whatever @Ahleckz did I think will be best.

What is it that makes you think this?

I'm trying to avoid it taking the entire day so if it can start locally (in Florence) it might be better.

Did you come across any which let you just take the car for a few hours without a tour or are they all tour related?

I just thought the vineyard tour would have been interesting, and I got the impression it was a smaller group than Walkabout.
However, Walkabout were totally great! It was a highlight of the trip, and we really enjoyed it. Plus, the vineyards aren’t doing much in early May so didn’t really miss out.
I’d definitely recommend it if you just want to drive for a few hours, take some photos and have a pleasant lunch. We stopped four times for photos/change driver.
We met at 8.20am at a square in Florence, short walk to the coach, 20 mins on there. Shown the car, given a quick lesson etc and were driving by 10am. Around 3 hours driving/lunch/sites. Back to garage, and bus Back to Florence around 2pm.

The only one I could find that let you take it for a few hours was based in Lucca, called ‘Drive The Vintage’. €195 for 10am-7pm but you have to pick up in Lucca. I couldn’t find any that did it from Florence.

The garage they took us to to collect the cars doesn’t have any info on google maps so doubt you can contact them directly.

Tunnel back in and gator sprayed. Beatrush shifter is probably the best mod I've done so far, big improvement.

I expect most German barges to be 4 cylinder diesel. It is almost a surprise now to see one with a proper engine.

Most are these days tbh. I wanted an F11, but most of them were 2.0 diesel and even if I found a 3.0 I'd worry about the chocolate chain tensioners/guides.

BiTurbo is good for 313PS isn't it? I bet it shifts. I like the body-coloured arches too; looks very nice!

Cheers, yes it's 313PS and it's quick for what it is. Got it for a good price, about the same as the 245PS version with the same miles/age/spec, so it was a no brainer really. It's in excellent condition as well.

Is it an Allroad?

How many motors is that now Gibbo? 458, GT3, Spyder, Vantage, Exige, Corvette, and Yaris I remember so that's 7.
